Beautiful Gev

This Small Stockman , well not that small 3 3/8", from Böker Germany got subjected to one of my tea-dye sessions. The stag takes this colour treatment very well I think, and you get an added bonus of backsprng patina and black blades very fast. I cleaned off the blades but they still retain an even patina. I like these knives and this one has decent enough stag , equal thickness. The bone variants of this knife are very good too and I rapidly turned the small spey into a preferred pen.

Regards, Will.

Nice match-up Paul. I really love that orange ALOX buddy. Yes, I removed the liner-lock because it was a pain in the _ss and changed the bone from ugly jigged red to smooth Amber.

This for me today...

Nice looking knife.
The more I look at Wharncliff blades, the more I think I might want one. I can just visualize the uses. Kind of like an Exacto Knife where you can put the point on a pinpoint spot for fine detail work.
I'm just thinking out loud here. :)

That Electrician should come in handy for any last minute odd jobs Paul. Hope the move has gone well my friend

So far so good thanks Jack!

The electrician is quite recent. I started using the alox farmer that Scruff sent me and loved it, so I got the electrician as a step up (love the lack of key ring and the inclusion of the sheepsfoot).

:)

Yeah, I might give one a try at some point. I offered to get Scruff one, thought it might be a good work knife for him, but he wasn't bothered.
