• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

That's a 36, right? I think that's the best looking bone/jigging I've ever seen. What did they call that? Seems like a derivative of Blood Red Jigged Bone, but a bit different.

Yes, sir! Thanks for the compliment. This is a a #362211STL, 1 of 12 produced in 2011. In its inestimable indescription, GEC calls this bone -- wait for it-- "Red Jig Bone." *sigh.* More pictures of the #36, comparative and descriptive, here.

That sure is a pretty penny for its age! The knife ain't to shabby either  :)

The penny is aging rapidly-- you'll see. ;)

Very nice P, has that penny got chocolate in the middle? ;)

Nope! ".999 fine copper." So it says. :D

Ah HA. In which a connection is made. For this (fun), I blame you. :)

Pic from this morning of an old Spartan with about 2500 lbs. of steel strips. The edge was in pretty good shape after all that cutting. ;)

Thanks, Paul. Needed something fairly bright this morning, hate to lose it...

Wow Jamie, I saw that in the news, North Dakota gets similar snowfalls as well but have been spared the last two years from something that massive:thumbup: Good idea to keep your knives bright;):)

On the wrist and in the pocket :)

What an amazing photograph! And I really am envious of the IXL. Such a great old blade.

Thank you very much! IXL really makes a fine knife and it is a real cutter too!
