What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice find Ted! Pardon me for my ignorance but what is an earpick? Is it really used to pick your ears?

Q-Tips were invented in the early 20s, before that they used to use little scoops to scoop out the gunk in their ears.

When I first saw it I thought it was a coke spoon for snortin' cocaine, then I took it to a knife show and the gentleman I showed it to told me it was common in these types of knives from the 1800s to have one.

It made sense to me.

I wonder if they had little rakes to get the nits out of one's hair? We have probably all seen the dog groomer's knives. I like the button hooks, myself.

I pulled this one out tonight, stropped it a few times, and in the pocket tomorrow.

Probably my most "Traditional" of my EDC knives: Spyderco Kiwi with dark red jigged bone.

I do own more traditional, but tend to leave them in the knife box.

The "Kiwi", even with jigged bone does not really meet the definition of a "traditional" knife for the purposes of this sub-forum. Much like having jigged bone on my Kit Carson model 4 doesn't make it appropriate here either.

Day off work! Last of the season's sunshine around before our arctic darkness descends...GEC UNXLD Stag 73 Linerlock. After two years it shows the beginnings of a buttery hue to the stag, nice!

I'm just hanging around the shack this afternoon so I am not really totin' anything. In my defense I will say that there are knives laying around all over the shack so I am not far from one.
This morning I went into town with these two. A jigged bone forged 52100 PJ Tomes on my belt and this other one.

Too funny! You didn't hide that "Mnandi" well enough though!

I carried my avatar knife again today. I think it's gonna have a place in my pocket on a regular basis.
