What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I really like that Frost Black Hawk II also. I'd buy one if one of the companies came out with it. Today I carried a 4 in. SS stockman. Nothing fancy.

Not sure if this one counts as traditional or not.

I love the razor blade on it, it's so sharp with the hollow ground blade it slices garlic when I'm cookin', paper thin, ya put it in the oil and it melts.

The hawkbill is a great utility blade, great for openin' sacks cat food bags, almost anything, I use it out side on the shrubs and stuff.

Today I'm carryin' the BFC 2006 Forum Knife Canal Street Cutlery Ring Opener with Stag scales.

I've got both of these on me today!
Great Old Remington, Blades are nice!
Menefee Dogleg! Culpepper jigged Bone!
Both of them are great EDC knives!.

Today is a knife-heavy day.

I'm really taking a shine to the Fruitport. The blade really isn't rusty, I'm playing with a few different experimental patina methods on it. It and the Case stockman. The blade on the Fruitport looks brownish because I've stained it with traditional walnut drawing ink. It looks really cool in person, has a deep golden sheen to it.

I'm really taking a shine to the Fruitport.

I have to agree with you on the Fruitport. I bought 4 and they just call to me. Shine indeed. They are easy to grab open and flat ground to the edge so they are great slicers. One of the stags had very thick palm filling slabs, nice.

Yeah Eric, those Fruitports really are sweet. The smooth bone is super juicy, and they're just so solid and well-made. The best part is the Bark River grind- mine cuts like CRAZY, and keeps a very good edge! I carved our pumpkins this year with mine, and it worked great.

The old man gave me a yeller butterbean about 10 years ago so I figured it needed a little pocket time this week, its actually growing on me. Actually got a good edge on it a little bit ago. Spear points give me problems.:o

Just received and am carrying my new Tidioute pumpkin orange jigged bone sunfish/ elephant toe. It's a chunk, heavier and thicker than my Case Elephant Toenail, although the Case is a smidgen longer. This thing has the heft and dimensions as a S&M F&W Wildcat Driller.

Been a while since I came by this way but since I carried a slippie today (well, yesterday at this point) I figured it was worth chiming in.

I've yet to find anything I like as much as the Fruitport. Might have to get a stag handled one to go with the bone.
