That's a great pattern, George.

So's that "32" pattern, Jason!

I don't know exactly what it is about this Coats Toothpick--maybe it's that claw-like point, or perhaps it's the dark-and-stormy-night look of the buckeye burl handle--but I've come to associate it with the Autumnal Equinox in general and All Hallows Eve in particular, so it stays in my pocket throughout the month of October. I've used it three years running for carving our Jack O' Lanterns and you couldn't ask for a better pumpkin carver.

With last year's Cthulhu 'O Lantern:

Today I was carryin' my 80s Frost Cutlery Black Hawk II, I wish Case, Queen or one of the other US manufacturers would make a version of this pattern.

I'm also re-profiling/sharpening a new Queen Utility in Birds Eye Maple. No pics yet.

The knife did'nt have a scatch on it until my bro in law picked it up yesterday and run it across my sharpener, I was mad to say the least.

Impossible to better that one Mike. A new classic is born!

Today, a Tidioute 73 in Smooth Bone. Just got it yesterday and maybe it's too smooth(or oiled) dropped the baby on the front doorstep, no no no! Hairline crack on pile side, not a happy thing!
