What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice selection, Lemmy.
Tell the truth. You spent more time deciding what knives to bring than what to wear.
Have a merry Christmas.

After Donna read one of Carl's stories in which a woman gives her man a pretty little knife, she gifted me this as an early Christmas present. I have to admit, I cried.

Haha yes, but that's pretty easy. 7 pairs or blue pants and 7 blue shirts. Done. One thing about Chicago is there's a 2.5 inch blade length limit. Pares down the choice making the selection easier.

That's a real nice knife. Have had my eye on the buckthorne tidioute but that shield and the long pull. Very nice of Donna. My girlfriend says she doesn't want to encourage me and "feed the beast." I joked that a full beast is better than a hungry one.

I like it a lot. More elegant than a sheepfoot, more robust than a wharncliffe. (sounds like an advertising slogan, huh?)

My thoughts exactly. Glad you're liking it

Beautiful knives and a great pic, Kris. That Chamblin lock back whittler is a work of art.

Sorry for the late replies, had a water heater go out at the shop.

Thanks Gary, it really is. It has to be handled to be truly appreciated.

Kris, you know you really want a gnarly old clasp knife! ;) :D

Jack, I would love to look it over, over a pint. Cheers.
