What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wowzer, I'll say. I was guessing a synthetic of some sort. Tactile, translucent bull horn is better yet.

I really like Sam's Joker, too. But I'm biased, since I picked up a somewhat similar one while my daughter and I visited Toledo, Spain less than 3 weeks ago! ;)
I don't know much Spanish, but I now know that "asta autentica" is genuine bull horn. (I'm ashamed to admit that I've already forgotten the Spanish for "stag" - something like "ciervo"? :()

Kris - Your Halfrich is a real stunner and that redwood burl is out of this world.

LaughingBones - Thanks! I like the Candy Man reference in your username as well.

Bill - Thanks for the follow-up. I hope I'm holding up half as well as your HS&B at 90 years old. ;) :)

Ron - Thank you. Your Northfield Barlow is a beauty. Great looking scales on that one.

5K Qs - another gorgeous bull horn Joker. Very nice.

Some real beauties are being carried by you guys today.

Im still bonding with this one.

Thanks Mark. Im actually needing to put a new edge on it, but fighting the flu at the moment. I really can see how these reds are so addicting. Good thing I've decided to downsize or Id have to grab another. :D

I wish it was a 60s Paul. It's a Four dot or 1976 by my count. The bone is a little darker than Id like but its gonna look good with a patina one day. :)

Had to choose who went with me to one of the most beautiful places on Earth. S&M Barlow Sheepfoot made the cut for many reasons. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1422506212.262418.jpg

Brett, I couldn't see the dots but in my book, the 70's are right there with the 40's thru 60's for the red bone and quality my friend:thumbup:

Wonderfully beautiful!

I could really do with one like that, congratulations!

Thanks, Will

Don't forget your glasses;)

:D

Pick me a nice one Jack. :D

I packed my bag last night, thought I'd take over a roll of GEC knives, so they can see what a quality knife is supposed to look like. Unfortunately we have a thick blanket of snow this morning, and (inevitably here) there is travel disruption, so I'll have to go over early next week instead :(

Jack - nice choice for today. It's a great pattern, especially with the spearpoint, and those jigged scales are just terrific.

Thanks Stephen, lovely to see your stunning Whittler

Another nice-looking Joker. Hope you had a great time in Spain

Beautiful Red Bone Brett!!!

I'm slipping my old Boker (USA) Jack in my pocket today, always a treat to carry this one :)

Amazing photographic skills, fellows. Keep those great pics coming. :)

Today I´m still at home with this flu. Baby Max is having his 1st birthday today!

Happy Birthday to Max Andi - Hard to believe it's been a year! Hope you're feeling better soon my friend
