What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks, and thanks to combatjiujitsu too! Carrying it today also has the added benefit of assuaging my angst when Primble's Wildcats go on to beat my Tide by 20 or more points later tonight. ;) :)

Roll Tide!!

In the studio tonight preparing to record a demo of a song I wrote. Change of strings is in order but first a post to the thread that renewed my interest in Traditionals. This mini trapper is only a few weeks old. IF the sun shows its face tomorrow I'll get a real camera out and try to take something more worthy of this thread.

Going to a black tie function this evening so I'm thinking this would be appropriate. I'll pair it with a William Henry E10.

Nice knife and photo addylo.:)

Stephen - That is an outstanding Red Bone Nut, from an outstanding member of our forum:thumbup:

Primble - A generous gesture and an example for us all!
I also am carrying some Case Blue today, just a different pattern than yours!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you for the kind words Ron and that Case of yours is a beauty - I saw where the Vols had a nice win today as well.

Do you need an orange Case Ron?:D:D:D

Stephen - Good game from the Tide - I might just send you the big blue trapper, so that you will have something to hold onto until football season, my friend. :o:eek::rolleyes::D:D

That blue is beautiful on this Case. May I ask what it is called?

Shane - First, thank you for the compliment. This particular knife is from 2001. It is a Case Copperhead 6249W SS. The color is listed on the box as simply just Blue, BNPS, which actually stands for Bone with a Peachseed Pattern in the jigging on the scales. As with a lot of Case knives the coloring will vary from knife to knife. I have another of this pattern in this color and also 2 Copperlocks and they are close but all are slightly different. I hope this helps to answer your question.

Primble - Thanks for the compliment on the knife:)
As for the Vols it was a nice win! You know what, come to think of it I do even own an Orange knife:eek::eek: Maybe I need to check around and see what I can come up with:thumbup:

Nick - beautiful knife!

Whetstone39 - I don't claim to be an expert on Scout patterns, but yours is as nice as I've seen.

Flyboy70 - Roll Tide to you as well. That's a good looking mini trapper and there's nothing wrong with the photo either. Best of luck with the new song. I barely know how to play the radio, much less an instrument and know even less about song writing. The one thing I do know, however, is what I learned from David Allen Coe, Steve Goodman and John Prine - a great song needs to say something about Mama, or trains, or trucks, or prison, or getting drunk. ;)

Primble - kind of you to say, but from what I saw, we provided less resistance than Saddam's Elite Guard. Football season can't get here soon enough, but hang on to your Big Blue Trapper - you might want to carry it with you to a championship parade or something this March. :)

Ron - I like the blue copperhead and apologize for mistaking the color for Big Blue. That said, Case does have a number of knives with attractive scales similar in color to UT Orange.

flatblackcapo - nice looking 55. Now I'm wishing I'd had some stew today though.

Some absolutely stunning knives folks

I'm carrying my 2014 forum knife today :)

Stephen - Thank you for the compliment on my Copperhead. No problems with your description, it is a Big Blue knife:) I have noticed some of the Orange Case models and they always do have the occasional comemortive editions. While not exactly the same shade of color, I almost dropped the hammer on an orange G10 Sea Horse Whittler, but that's the closest I have been:thumbup:

Jack - A fine Stag Jack you have there:)

I question the fact that so few GEC 56s are seen around.

I like this one of mine, Amber Bone/Spear
