(since Kerry sent an email to check up on me and make sure it wasn't collecting dust on a shelf somewhere...:p)

Mike those Alsdorf's are beautiful and his F&F is top notch. Elliot...it's a Hampton...'nuff said :D

Todd's pics are much better than mine, but I've been carrying this Davison swayback since it arrived a week or so ago.

That ironwood has really nice character! Good lookin' knife all around!

I received this Rough Rider Congress as a gift last Saturday from a new friend. Is there any better gift than a slipjoint! It has been in my pocket since as the giver asked me to cut with it and cut I have.

German Eye brand knives. This one was my girlfriends fathers and when he passed away it was handed to me. A lot of sentimental value. I can only guess but this knife is close to 20 years if not more.

I have had so many knives, but this has found a warm place in the pocket. I can really be happy with only this knife if I had to chose and was not such a knife nutter. It is long enough and subtle enough to do anything IMO.

So you like it, Rick? :p ;)

Well, you know...*sniff* It's nice enough, I guess (I'm desperately attempting to feign nonchalance, here :o).

Thanks, brother. Kerry did a kick-ass job on this one. I'm still beaming.

Thanks for the links. I really have to try and keep apprised of the cutting edge, so to speak. I almost missed that beauty. Ass has most definitely been kicked. That Kerry guy must be the Olde Dawg's adopted son, or something.

Sincere congratulations , my friend.

Oh, my! That is a very special sort of beauty/function iconic treasure Kerry has made for you. One of the nicest (subjective, I know) knives I have seen in awhile. Thanx for showing it.

Thanks, Rick and Cal! :cool::thumbup:

For the life of me, I can't figure why the Eureka is not a more popular pattern. Along with the classic dogleg, I think it's one of the most attractive (and functional) patterns. (I'm trying to do my small part to bring it back into vogue.)

I'd love to see Case get with Tony to do a collaboration on the Eureka as I don't think there's a way it could fail to be a hit. (Especially judging by the success and quality of the dogleg they produced in tandem.)
But what do I know? :p

I was thinking the exact same thing. I know I'd line up for one or two.

I keep finding that Case mini Copperhead in my pocket. It was there today; it's just a sweet little knife. Mack did me a favor when he tempted me with this pattern.

Just got my Case Yellow CV Peanut in the mail today and will be carrying it exclusively for the next week. This is my first CV steel knife and am so far quite impressed by it's cutting performance.

Okay.... a knife photographer I am not - especially in the middle of the night in the desert... but Bunnies are always good for something! I love my new purple Texas Toothpick, and my little Case Peanut with the scissors always comes in handy! I also have a Case Peanut in MOP with scissors - but I don't carry that in my purse.

Truth be told, the purple Texas Toothpick is actually Bunny's knife. However, she only carries it when flying on an airplane carrying dangerous criminals and Cameron Poe.

nice knives judy! pink bunnies and purple knives is somethin different :D

Thanks, Jesse! I'm a girlie-girl.... and my nephews call me Aunt Bunny, so I have a collection of bunnies! This little pink girl is a recent addition. I thought that a pink bunny and purple knife would reflect a bit of who I am!!!

Let me see my pockets... Yikes, Spyderco Bob Terzuola slipit... Uhm, that's not it (non-lcoking but not even a slipjoint)... *keeps rummaging pockets* Ah, here we go: Beautiful Case 3 7/8" Stockman in Tru-Sharp and Dark Molasses Bone. Best looking bone from Case to the date, IMHO. Pictures... well... yes, once I get them done :D
