Maxx, thanks!

The good news is that Jerry ships to Europe.
(Shoot him an email and get on his list. It'll give you time to save up. I don't think you'll be disappointed. In fact, I'm sure you won't be.)

I slipped this one in my pocket when I got it Wednesday and I've been carrying it ever since. Rides nice in the pocket and feels good to the hand.

This was my Grandfathers OLD TIMER Schrade that I got him for Christmas when I was about 10 , which was 20 years ago. He sadly passed away this June from a long battle with Cancer. When I was going through the bottom drawer of his Gun Cabinet I found it wrapped up in a cloth. As you can see it has been well used. It will be with me until my time is up.

The edges on it are razor sharp. I never could sharpen a knife as good as him. All he ever used was an old wet stone.

That is one sweet old knife. Take care of it.

Started out with this one...

High Density, that old Schrade has a lot of stories to tell. Its great you found it, and I'm sure your Gramps would be happy

Today is Rem day, not really sure why. Maybe because it was just layin by my wallet on the dresser :D I'm to lazy to go out and take new photos, besides its cold and snowin

What is the bottom item that is attached to the lanyard?

It doesn't look like anyone answered you Dornblaser but if I'm not mistaken, (and I don't think I am) it's a nail nick opener for openin' knives with strong backsprings or for people either with soft nails or people who don't wanna mess up their manacured nails.

That old red bone looks well loved. Thinking about your Hybrids made my mouth start watering :D

And that dark patina on the blades is some of the best I've seen as well.

Thanks Luciano, I was given this knife by a fine friend and knife knut brother of mine right here on this forum, already with a good patina in process. Since then I'v also enriched her darkness and depth a good bit myself, and I am nearing perfection PDQ. :) This old Jack knife is a wonderful slicer!

Cool :D I do like citrus. Its neat you are doing the grafting. I've never tried anything on that level. I just grow the usual boring stuff, and in all honesty haven't been doing much of that the last few years.

Thanks for the good thoughts. I knew she was going to a good home :D
