What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Moore Maker XL Stockman in yellow jigged bone. Sorry for the lack of pics, but Blues has some excellent photos of the smooth yellow version in his album.

I heard some grumbling emanating from the closet this morning from Kerry's "Lanny's Clip" about the attention being paid to the new "Eureka Jack", so this one's in the pocket today :

(Easier to open of a cool morning as well since it can be "pinched"...)

Nice one Elliott! I would not have thought Kerry's knives were whiners or the jealous type. With that stag, maybe its just rutting season?

Had a nice young 4 pointer out the back window yesterday morning chasing all the does and fawns up and down the slope behind our house. It was a riot watching it.

As to "whining", I don't think I'd go quite that far. More like one of those little stage coughs where an attempt is being made to get one's attention without being over the top. ;)

:p

It's good to hear that your Lanny's clip has finally come out of the closet.
I'm not a fan of clip blades but that is one that even I would like.

Hmmm, now I can understand the reason for the grumbling...:p

This was my Grandfathers OLD TIMER Schrade that I got him for Christmas when I was about 10 , which was 20 years ago. He sadly passed away this June from a long battle with Cancer. When I was going through the bottom drawer of his Gun Cabinet I found it wrapped up in a cloth. As you can see it has been well used. It will be with me until my time is up.

The edges on it are razor sharp. I never could sharpen a knife as good as him. All he ever used was an old wet stone.

Hi guys! I'm back at least for a little while. I'm carrying a brand spanking new Case 63090 faded jigged blue bone Co-op med. Stockman. I can't get over this one! It's as good as any of my high end S&M or my lone GEC! This is my new favorite pattern by Case and I plan on it not being my last! I never thought I would ever like a traditional smaller then 3 1/2" but I certainly do on this one! It reminds me of the old med. cattle knife pattern.

Funny you should mention that Elliot. On the way over to Redding, CA this morning there was a buck chasing two does from one side of CA State Rte. 299 to the other for about a two mile stretch of roadway. Cars were lined up for a couple of miles on the sides of the road enjoying the show.

Nature is the greatest show on earth by far.

(Well, after the Blade Show that is. ;):p)

I got a call from Jerry yesterday (just to catch-up), so I figured I'd carry one of his today...but I couldn't decide which. I started with one and then switched halfway through the day...now ain't that rich? ;)
