What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Great minds think alike. Here's my EDC for today. I carry a lot of different knives, but I always have my Dart around my neck.
The Dart from Evans Knife and Tool, and the Northfield 77 Barlow in Stag.

Glad to see the stag arrived safe and sound - enjoy! :)

Yesterday after finding my Northwoods Norfolk had slipped out of the pocket of my indoor fleece jacket again i exchanged it for a Rough Rider Peanut that i had found in the bottom of my knife box bag. I have found the RRP to be a useful little knife because unlike either of its much more expensive cousins that i have it does not have a half stop, which for me makes it easier to use and the overall fit & finish is good, as to how it will stand up to daily use time will tell. So today it rides happily along with the #68 Buckaroo that has replaced the #66 Calf Roper as my main carry.

Old Man,

Any particular reason the 68 pushed the 66 out of the pocket? I have a Calf Roper and a Jack, and love them. Been interested in a 68, but haven't pulled the trigger.......but I do love that the 68 jack has the pen in front of the clip.

Kris - the Chamblin whittler is spectacular. Everything about it is wonderful, but the gold pins are pure genius along with the amazing stag scales.

Mainly because it is the new one, the #68 was my first choice but the dealer i usually buy from had just sold his last #68 but still had #66 in Purple Sage and it is the same knife right ? Well i was very happy with the #66 but i tracked down a #68 in Purple Sage and after it arrived i realized they are not the same, firstly the Purple Sage covers are much different, on the #68 they are much darker more like a black cherry and the equal end looks better IMO. I have a #66 Slim in Purple Sage inbound at the moment but i can not see it kicking the #68 out of my pocket. I have oiled the #66 and put it in my EDC box where i am pretty sure the Slim will follow. I am not sure about the Jack, i have found the choice of a sheepsfoot or spey as a secondary blade much more usefull than a pen blade.
I hope i have answered your question. Regards OMR..

I am carrying these. At least I didn't forget to carry like somebody (who'll remain unnamed) did yesterday. :)
