What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Well, the 81 was placed back in storage. The mail man just dropped this one off. Thanks again David!

Came home and had to cut ice-split limbs out of the Wax Myrtles - carried this great old Schrade-Walden in my pocket while I was sawing away (thanks again KBA!) OH

That's a really nice knife. The jigging, the shield, the swedges on the clip blade, very nice knife.

Sweet! I have its sibling, although the etch on mine was removed by the previous owner.

The knife looks striking both with and without.

Wow, cool shot! You sure did capture da Glow. :)

Nice knife. I like the lines on that one.
I was about to say exactly the same thing. Great lines, so well-proportioned.

Looking good, Humppa-- I do so love a stamped blade, which only looks better with use.

I am carrying these. At least I didn't forget to carry like somebody (who'll remain unnamed) did yesterday. :)

Yep, still out of town. I am catching up on forum posts and drinking my breakfast!

Too funny! Also, great job sketching the knives. :D

NW Forest jack with the small Seb.
Oh, man. What beautiful grain!

This lil one today.

Good looking knife, Kai76.

But what is it? Who made it?

Thanks! It's a Case mini copperhead in smooth antique bone.

I was just about to ask.... I was going to guess Mini Copperhead (based on my own), but the presentation looked too subtle-- in a good way! The small, plain shield is perfect for this pattern. What year was it made?

Brett - beautiful EO!

Old Hunter - gorgeous old Schrade Walden. I really like the jigging and swedge on that one. It looks to be in terrific shape.

Dwayne - good looking #73. It looks right at home in that tree.

Phil - nicely done! Your old English Jack looks to have at least another 100 years of life ahead of it now.

Thanks P! It was made in 1995.

Smithhammer - two gorgeous knives today. I have a GEC #62 in elk that I'm very fond of, and I really like the looks of yours.

Thanks, Stephen. It's high time for a new run of #62's!!

Great shots SH, and the fixed blade is a stunner

Thanks, Tom. There's just something about those Humphrey knives that I can stare at all day. When they're not being put to work, of course. ;)

I'm afraid I can't match all these beauties today. But there is a sort of beauty in the humble simplicity of a well used and well loved Barlow.
