What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ron, is that Case SWJ CV steel? I looked around for one but ended up settling for SS.

Bob - Yes Sir, it is CV and I love it. I have never figured out why in their infinite wisdom Case chose to discontinue this model in CV. The Chestnut Bone is also very attractive.

I really like that photo of your Ebony Case/Bose Stephen. A great knife. Enjoyed seeing the IXL as well. ;):)

A Moose and a Muley today.

Very nice SH. :thumbup::)

Found this is the drawer of the end table next to our loveseat---just a great knife in every aspect:thumbup:

Nice pics and mods on that knife Paul. :thumbup::thumbup::)

Likin' the Sowbelly Duane !! :thumbup::)

Primble, you have a few nice knives. 😜 But this one may be the prettiest. Congratulations!

Thank you Scott. I enjoyed the picture of your TC on the bike as well. :thumbup::)

Wonderful Mini Copperhead !!! :eek::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::)

:) Thanks! Sounds like we're having similar weekends. I haven't done much more than relax so far, but I do plan to take the kids for a hike this afternoon. Aside from that, I spent a fair bit of time yesterday researching two old Sheffield cutlers. Seems I can find bits and pieces, but it's been my experience that researching some of the old Sheffield makers can be akin to pulling teeth. ;)

Just to keep us on topic, here's a photo of one of my favorite knives which also happens to have been made in Sheffield:

That right there is such a beautiful knife Stephen. The rich color of those covers, the bolster caps (hope I got that right), the shield, and TWO pen blades! Just fantastic! :thumbup: And no worries on the name spelling, I was just having some fun ;)

Fantastic Mini Copperhead, the bone is beautifully burnished. Is it from the 1990s?

Regards, Will

Thanks Will, I love the curves on the mini copperhead. Whittlers and serpentines too. This one is a 9 dot from 1981.
