What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This evening I have a Case CV sway back Jack in "chestnut bone", which arrived today. Unfortunately I got home after dark, so no pics. I'll have to put some effort this weekend into some pictures which do it justice. I'm very impressed with it.

Congrats, Frank!:thumbup: Looking forward to your photos. I recently received a CV chestnut bone swayback jack (thanks, paulhilborn :D) that I think is fantastic! :p It's been in my watch pocket every day since it arrived.

Congrats on all the English treasures!:thumbup: Thanks for sharing them with us.
Nicely done, Jack!
I especially like the old coin holder; I had something almost identical to that (even the lanyard and fastener) when I was a lad. ;)

Thanks so much, GT! Every piece was a thrill as I took them out of the box one by one! The coin holder is so neat..i had never seen one. Jack really did pick the coolest pieces...I will frame the lot after I share the joy!

Gevonovich - thank you for the compliment on my swayback. :) I love the striations in the ivory on the knife you posted today; along with the other treasures you shared. The bottle opener and coin holder are just too cool, and I'm happy to say that the gambling token looks familiar. :D Each piece looks to have been a very thoughtful gift. Kudos to Jack, and to you as well for sharing photos of your birthday bounty with all of us.

Nick - I love the coloration on your mini-copperhead - it's a beautiful knife.

gmarthur - lovely ebony Norfolk.

Ron - wonderful blackwood 77. The 45 makes for a nice backdrop too.

glassjaw - nice trio. Good luck at the knife show.

link2derick - coffee & cream? I like it.

Stephen, thank you for your, as always, thoughtful comment! I really appreciate you and love to see your fantastic knives. You have great taste:thumbup:

Haven carried this one much. I decided to pull it out and give it some pocket time today. It may be just a cheap shell knife, but it gets the job done.

Stephen, thank you sir! I need to give more love to my swayback that's been in the box forever.

Consoling myself over missing the TCs. Keeping some perspective isn't too difficult with this guy

I agree! That's a great looking NF Yankee stag right there! Knew I should've bought the stag as well.
Hey HH, that Geo. Schrade wire knife is a keeper, I have one too! Great little folder with many uses.
