Mark, is there a name for that jigging pattern? Looks like a cross between peach seed and GEC's alligator jigging. Gorgeous knife!

That's crazy -- double springs, on one blade?? Whoa! Very cool, thanks for the info. How long is it?
And..... if you ever tire of it, please call me first! ;)

Ya I've never seen double springs on a single blade myself. Will try to get pics of the springs and thick blade spine. Its 3 3/8' closed.

Mark that is just beautiful!!

Thanks for all the nice comments, fellas. This was my first TC Barlow and is my most used and carried Charlow. Keeping me company until my Palo Santo arrives.

All the cherry blossoms are falling off the trees. The wind is piling them up into little snowdrifts.
Well that beauty should be good company till Palo!

Nice ones again today guys. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

That's what I call Premier Bone. Rich, smooth and a wonderful toffee colour. Good enough to chew on....:D:eek::eek:

Fantastic carry and something unusual.

Regards, Will

I know some of you guys across the pond might think it's a bit gauche, but in honor of St. Patrick's Day right around the corner, I've got these. (Sorry for the lousy cell phone pic, the light's gone. I'll have to take a better one later. )

Saint Patrick? - isn't that a sgian dubh?!?!

Great photo puukkoman ;)

Yeah, it is. I know, it's Scottish, not Irish, but hey... I don't have an Irish blade, just a couple pieces of green bone... and this pointy little thing has cultic markings on its pouch, and was made in Sheffield, besides. So...... workin' with what I've got. ;)

(Didn't I predict that you boys would find it gauche??) :D

Svord Peasant and Rancher. I forget how useful the Peasant is until I carry it for a while, great slicer.

SH, lovely pair you've got there! They complement each other very well.
Whetstone, that Svord looks great. I've been meaning to try one out myself.

Thanks Dr. Scott! It is standard NYKC jigging post 1916. They used picked bone prior to that.......from the research I have done. :o

Mon dieu! That's a stunner, Mark! Just lovely.

Thanks puukkoman!
