Primble
Much appreciated, my friend!

Clutch
Thank you, Sir!

Stephen
Super fine knife you have there!! Wow!
All I know is it's a very rare brand. What I found so far is one other knife and the discussion noted that Summit was a wholesaler in St. Paul, MN from 1906 to 1920. If anyone has any more information it would be greatly appreciated.
I don't have any more time today...but appreciate all the great knives posted today and fine pictures everyone!!! A speedy recovery to you, Andi!!!

I like the bone color on that one Ron.:)

Primble - Thank you Sir! I was pleased with the color on this one when I first took it out of the tube :)

Ron - great looking NF Barlow. The color of the covers reminds me of strawberries... oh great, now I want a NF Barlow and some strawberries. ;) :)

This Hammer Brand whittler is with me today.

Stephen - Thank you for the compliment! You should be able to get some fresh strawberries in LA soon. I will be down that way next week visiting my daughter so I may have to try some myself :D That Hammer Brand is a classy carry!:)

I used this one, my new Enzo Elver, this weekend a lot. I batoned firewood and made woodchips to start a fire, sliced wegetables, cut cord and so on. What a great knife. The grind and O-1 steel respond well to stropping making an allready sharp knife into a straight razor. I could not be more pleased. I have three Enzos, the necker, PK 75 folder and this and they are all great.

Thanks Stephen :) It started out nice, then the weather changed and it rained all day, 6.35pm now and it's sunny, typical English April weather!

That's a lovely knife and a nice composition my friend

Jack - sounds like a good afternoon for a pint or two and some Internet research into old cutlery companies. :)

hillbillies hippie - great looking ebony Jack.

We found a new carved tree out at one of the local lake-parks. Used the wifey's iPhone 6 - and man does it take way better pics than my old iPhone4 - I might have to upgrade just for the camera!

In any case, I had my Patriot along with me:

Here's the tree:
