What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

this is redundant since I posted another picture in the other thread, but it's IN my pocket now after a waxing and sharpening. My first up-market factory traditional since getting serious about knives. Lovely little piece. I get it.

Beautiful knife, beautiful pic !!!:thumbup:;)
Primble - Thanks so much,:) it always means a lot coming from you. I always admire the fantastic photography of your beautiful knives.(the 38's and TC's have been amazing) I don't know how I missed this but I have been crazy busy at work (60 hours this week:grumpy:) :o

Kyle, Todd, & Bob - thanks for the compliments fellas! :) As is well known, Davison puts together one hell of a knife - glad I could get my hands on a blade combo like this one

David, as you likely noted, I received my first knife from Todd this week...I envy yours as much as I am anxious to get home to my own!!

40 travel hours left and counting. At least I'll sleep through 12-14 of them! At minimum, a few of our fellow Tradnatics share my pain. #sickoftheroad

Gorgeous knife. Thanks for the share!!

I like this one so much, it's got a bufalo horn twin coming in!

What an excellent picture! Nice to see a Queen knife for a change. That coffee looked good too:D:thumbup:

Let us know how the Horn turns out, I got a Sleeveboard of theirs in it and it's some decent material.

Regards, Will

Were you hunting fiddleheads or are they just part of the background? Good eating!

Just the background, while all ferns have fiddleheads, these are not edible, the fuzzy stalk is a good indicator that these are bracken ferns which can make livestock sick and cause cancer in lab rats, I do have ostrich ferns which are edible, there are a few varieties that are referred to as fiddleheads, but most have mild toxicity.

Daizee put me in the mood for some ebony today while helping a buddy install a new water heater. Calf roper it is!!

And Jcurd, I got my linerless Davison swayback that I bought the day after you bought yours. It's my 3rd Davison, 1st linerless, and I will say you're going to be blown away. It's beyond light and thin. It almost feels fake...until you open that blade. Be sure to notice how seamless his knives are. You're going to be hooked! David (Thales) knows all about it lol

...Carrying this today, sorry for the old photo.

Those EO teardrops (with a coping secondary besides) are like a little heaven on earth, Dave!:thumbup:

...
Thank you GT. Some nice oldies in your pockets !;)...

Thanks for the kind words, Primble; most of my nice ones are gifts from generous friends here!;);)

GT, that little wharncliffe is ALL stock, very pointy, thin and sharp :D

Thanks for the follow-up info, Jeff! :)

Congrats, daizee, on a superb, elegant knife; W:eek:W!:thumbup:

In my attempt to become an "international man of mystery", I'm carrying some European knives this week: a Vic Recruit, a Taramundi, and an Opinel.

I've been tempted to pick up that exact model for a while now, but new knives are going to have to take a back seat to new truck payments for a while.

Higo for me today
