Very nice Kris. Looks like a grand time.

Chris

Thanks Chris, fine day at the river, hope to get back at it tomorrow.

This Menefee Made drop point in CPM 154 has been with me all day, added a swayback by Todd Davison for the evening as I prepare a nice steak dinner for my wife.

I really like the original Scouts and I forgot about the nifebrite version. I sent my only Scout to Paul to complete his collection. He sent me something every bit as special - my Primble clip Barlow! I treasure it. ;):)

Love that pair Paul. The stag peanut is delicious looking, as is the PPP. :eek::thumbup::thumbup::)

Thank you Gevo. :thumbup::)

Beautiful TS Halfrich Gary. Always enjoy seeing it. :thumbup::thumbup::)

Nice looking sowbelly Frank. :thumbup::thumbup::)

Very nice Coats. :thumbup::)

Fabulous knife. I might as well throw all my junk knives in the trash !!! :o:o:D:D:D

Thanks Primble!

Always loved this knife Gary. My small rounder is one of my very favorite knives. Such a useful blade.

This is one of my favorites too, Lhpanther. Jerry's knives are flawless in design, fit and finish. It's a pleasure to use it.

Sounds like you had a good day on the river, Kris. I like that Menefee. The handle looks like it would be very comfortable in use.

...Had to carry this some day.
...

My baby :)
...

Baaa Baaa Blacksheep!
...

...This duo for me today...no work planned so nothin to strenuous will be expected;)

wQEEXj.jpg

...Doubled down in nuts today
...

Pete

Dave, Jeff, and Jake, those "black sheep" 77 Barlows you gentlemen are sporting look exquisite! :thumbup::thumbup:
Paul and Pete, those peanuts look real fancy. :cool::cool: I'm trying to convince my wife that she'd like to get me something like that for our 30th anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks! Wish me luck. :D:D

I'm off out hiking on what, so far, is a fine English Spring morning :) Have a great day everyone :thumbup:
...

Jack, looks like you were ready for any eventuality! :p:thumbup: What's the Latin phrase: semper paratus? :D

Working on a patina for my 1977 Case Pen.
It's the only knife in my pocket since it dropped in my mailbox. I think I finally get it now..

...

Congrats on your "enlightenment" QJerry! :thumbup::thumbup: My guess is that you'll recommend Case Penknives to others? ;)
I just noticed your location is Rotterdam. Some of my grandparents came from the Netherlands, and I've been thinking I should try to find some sort of traditional Dutch folder. Anything you'd suggest?

Buck 303 for me today, this one from the Camillus 300 series era. OH

...

Iconic, OH!! :thumbup::thumbup: Gonna get something like that for myself this summer.

It's a beautiful morning here and I have absolutely no commitments today. :D I hope everyone has a great weekend.
...

Great photo as usual, Stephen, but I'm going to congratulate you on the "no commitments" day! ;);) They sometimes seem few and far between! :o

Nice, Bob; is the lanyard made from boot laces? I've been looking at some laces at the grocery store lately that look very similar to your lanyard. :thumbup::p

Off on a bike ride with my lovely wife, the Wenger SI in the handlebar bag.
...

Your Wenger always looks good; keep up the regular bike rides, Doc! :cool:

Some new arrivals in my pockets today. I think I might need to hunt down an Ebony to complete the set. ;):)
...

My goodness, those EO sheepsfoot Scouts are always appealing; I like the variety you show in color and blade configuration. :thumbup::thumbup:

New picture of the Jerry Halfrich Small Rounder I carry now and then. It's along for the ride today mostly due to the Tribal Spear (modified Wharncliffe) blade discussion. I remembered what an awesome knife it is. ...

W:eek:W, Gary, that's another knife that ALMOST renders me speechless! Outstanding!! :thumbup::thumbup:

...Carrying a Case CV Sowbelly with chestnut bone covers today…

I really enjoy seeing your sowbelly, Frank; thanks! Maybe the chestnut bone CV sowbelly should be my "target" for a 30th anniversary knife! :D:D

One of my favorites (shameless plug I know…but MS Bruce Bump is just awesome):
...

"Awesome" is right, David! :thumbup::thumbup: Here's a question for you as someone who's getting to know Damascus blades: I know nothing about Damascus, but I'm curious about its properties relative to corrosion. Is it some kind of stainless, or more like carbon steel, or are the layers a mix of some of each, or what?

...Forced a flat matte patina on the North River due to some spotting. 01 took very well to the apple cider vinegar and it should be stable now.

That looks GREAT, Tim! :cool::cool:

A couple of Case TB's while splitting wood.
...

Those are incredible, Invoice; if you haven't done so yet, they should go in that "notable pairs" thread! :thumbup::thumbup:

Going lightweight for the weekend with my Taramundi.
...

I sure like the looks of your Taramundi, Dan. I love my "scorched boxwood" version, but then I see yours and think, "I should probably have at least a couple Taramundis!" :D:o:D

Not much of a work day today , so I carried this Taylor Eye Witness in Ox Horn...Harry

That's a stupendous knife, Harry!! :thumbup::thumbup: I'm developing quite an attraction to horn handles.

This arrived today, I love it....

Congrats, sir, on that fine Barlow!! :thumbup::)

- GT

5kQS : Thanks for the kind remarks on the Eye Witness with Ox Horn
I am just sorry that I could not take pictures that really shows the variation in the Ox Horn that you get when you just rotate the knife.
It was my first purchase of a rather up-scale Barlow

Harry

Harry,

I'm with GT on this one. That is one fine looking knife. Always good to see another knut from Wisco.

Cory Hess :
Thanks a lot. I also have one similar to it in Rams Horn , which pretty nice too , but quite as nice IMO as the XX Horn and it is just 5 Miles or less from your house too.
