What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It really is a beauty, Jeff. Thank you very much! A fine gift from our friend, Marko:D

Glad you like it Gevo! :D It had a broken pen blade that I removed, and in the process cleaned the liners and back springs before re-assembly. I wish I would have taken pictures of the bug shells  and stuff that fell out when I tore it apart. Scary!!:D

Carrying these two today

Mark
You really did a great job on it. I was wondering if you did the work....and now I know "the rest of the story". Thanks again.

Bugs and stuff....hey it was meant for me:D:eek:

Moki Blakiston's Fish Owl (small size) today: light as a feather and astonishingly good fit.

This one has been a constant companion for the past week, and I foresee it not being replaced for a longtime...

Nice looking pair mark! That TC is looking good with that patina ;):D

That Ka-bar is a beauty!

Mark I am a 911 emergency dispatcher, some emt cross training, tough calls today. Came home and my oldest asked to see my knives and the day got much better :)

Took these three camping this weekend:

It rained most of the time, so not the best for the kids. We did get a spot of sunshine, which we used to go hiking at Effigy Mounds National Monument:

I'm going to be honest. I don't really "get" the whole effigy mounds thing. It's cool that we found these things that the Native Americans made, but they don't really wow me. However, we've done the hike up to them several years in a row now because of the views of the Mississippi River that you get from the bluffs that the mounds are on:

Last year we got to watch a bald eagle cruising the air currents. This year it was 3 turkey vultures. Not as majestic, but still pretty exciting for the kiddos. :D

Cory, is the smallest knife an #89?

Yep, it's an 89 Gambler. I got it in a trade a couple weeks back, and I've found that I like it quite a bit more than I thought I would. It's nice slim package, but long enough to give me a full grip.

I have the Melon Whittler but yours seems svelt; perhaps the angle.

The #89 is a dandy. *double thumbs up*

Aww don't worry bout me Mark, They won't get me that easy:thumbup::) it was a long day at work too, we had some drownings to deal with today. Never a dull moment.......

Anywho, I'm glad to see you carry and use that TC, I like the pocket worn look it has now, very nice indeed:D

On that note, here's what's in my pocket:) this and that stockman have quickly become my favorite knives and have dominated my carry for the last week:D thanks again buddy!!!!
