What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

that Catt has wonderful bone covers Primble. I can see how it would be a favorite.

Chris

Always appreciated Chris !! :)

Put the Belknap Blue Grass and Case Russlock in my pockets this rainy day.
Harry

One of the best Bluegrass Barlows that I have seen Harry. Thank you for enabling me to look harder. :grumpy::grumpy::D

That is quite the compliment from the man who is the steward of so many of the planets finest old knives:D! Just one example is the Catt you show above....lovely..lovely...lovely!!

I think it was made by Remington. I am carrying it again today and just oiled the joints with some extra virgin olive oil

I know a guy in Texas that has some fine old knives. ;) EVOO is for cooking my friend !! ;):o:D:D:D:D:D:D

These two white bones

I really like the bone on that Powderhorn Lemmy.:thumbup::)

Nothing as fancy as you guys carry today - but the Vic Pioneer was my steady companion for the last few weeks and it will be for some time. Don´t know why....
But I used it hard the last time and I isn´t that shiny and nice. Gonna need a current pic of that almost well served battlehorse.

Love the red shield on black Alox Andi. Great to see you around.:thumbup::)

I agree, that bone is fantastic Primble!

I am carrying my beloved GEC #72.

Nice to see you back Erik and that is a fine knife and as always, fine photography.:thumbup::)

I've been carrying this knife for the last few days. I may need to change things up tomorrow!

Nice pic of the Harness Jack.:thumbup::)

Well I am actually not totin' it. but I certainly have a good grip on it.

Great knife Ron ! :thumbup::thumbup::)

It's hard to imagine your lil' pig-tailed self out on emergency calls, but I'm sure you brighten many a day....

:D

(My clearer brain knows that's not you in your avatar, but as I read along I almost always conflate the image of that young sweetie with the contents of your posts, then re-adjust. -- I'm sorry for your harder day.)

Back at it:

The Classic (attached to my keychain) and Radio Knife are de rigueur for a workday; the Farmer's Jack refuses to be left behind. Pocket hog.

Lol this made me laugh. I wish I could bring her to work, she would light up some days for sure, thank you. Your farmers jack is one of my favorites posted on here, just a stunning knife!

Carrying a Case 6344, Red Bone CV. Nice little knife, the smallest of their "medium" stockmans:

#99 Farm & Field Maroon linen micarta that I sanded to roughen up just a touch for better grip.

Really liking the matte finish with the 'grain' of the maroon micarta compared to the polish Mike. Tempted to do that to my BRK but it might not come out as nice ;)

After a hard days work the highlight is jumping on this forum and seeing so many great carry options:thumbup:

Its hard to explain but when I get into my warm weather season I get back to carrying a small fixed and slipjoint...

Today's carry is a Mini Nesmuk from BHK and an ALOX red Farmer:thumbup:

Love that Nesmuk Brother! Nice combo package!:cool:

No EO notch Mark. :D the 99 is so easy to open anyways. You'd be surprised to see how few knives I have with an EO notch. I tend to carry something that doesn't require it anyways. Then a few of the others get a BB tweak. ;)
