What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

After a hard days work the highlight is jumping on this forum and seeing so many great carry options:thumbup:

Its hard to explain but when I get into my warm weather season I get back to carrying a small fixed and slipjoint...

Today's carry is a Mini Nesmuk from BHK and an ALOX red Farmer:thumbup:

Ever have a twinge of buyers remorse? happened to me yesterday, might have just been the day, my mood or what, but got this in and while pretty and nice, decided nah and posted it up forsale straight away...then, a few hours later...I came to my senses lol and made the right choice in withdrawing such a silly notion, it is a very nice knife and man is she sharp, so she's being taken to work today!

^ Gary, when I first got my Coffin Jack (same covers as yours) I kind of had a moment also. The knife seems a little thick, the blades are a little thin height wise, especially the pen blade but after carrying it around and polishing up the edges I decided it was definitely a keeper. Those blades get scary sharp without a ton of effort and there's something about the style and build quality that just completes the package.

Thanks guys and I agree, it is at first glance a little on the chunky side for a narrow frame but it's very well made and yes sir, she sharpened up amazingly sharp!

I showed it to some folks at work, they are always in the know when G2 had incoming steel, but they couldn't remember the name, one guy said 'ah this is your Tombstone knife?' and another guy said 'This is your Casket knife?' I guess he was the closest ;) both were in the right cemetery :)

You may have regretted letting it go. It's better to give it a chance. I don't carry mine often but I won't let it out of the collection. It's just too cool!!

I sold off my IRJ a couple of months back and kind of regretted it so I got a hold of another one. I'm liking this blue camel bone but if they do more in ebony, I'll have to snag one

Gary, that coffin jack is beautiful. If you start getting squirrely again I will gladly hold onto it for you until you come back to your senses.:D

Paul
I sure am loving the Muk and the sheath too!!

Jack
Your Davidson is just stellar!!!

Tom
You always have great combos but that one sings!!

Great looking IRJ. And nice photography. I got a good one from this run as well. I got the lighter blue - has lot's of yellow bleed through - I love the variations in color. It's a keeper. Goes well with the Fremont Jack I got from you a while back.

Gary, I saw that for sale and now see you have repented. You've been on the hunt for a while and it is good to see you have a beauty in pocket. That coffin jack is stellar!

Small fixed blade and a scratched-bolster Madison Barlow for me today.

Tom, I really like the Natural Bone (?) / White Bone (?) on your City Knife! I have a little GEC Conductor that started out life with about the same shade of "whiteness", and it ages pretty well, IMO.

Hi Keith - the product description was "smooth white bone" or something similar, not really sure what type of bone it is . If it ages half as well as your Conductor I will be very lucky indeed .

Thanks guys and yes, it's good to have those moments like that and glad I did come to my senses quicker than someone was able to post on that thread ;)

Shot at work today, they are afraid of it, because how sharp it is, go figure right :)

I need to get a sheath made up for it, I keep reaching back for my Seahorse...which this was/is to replace, so I'll work on that tonight.
