Although the camping trip was a bit of a bust (the first time I can recall cutting one short due to bugs -- an endless legion of biting gnats and mosquitoes), one bright spot was getting to break in my new Kellam Falcon (an Ahti-made puukko). Here it is at sunset last night (I also toted it this morning):

Thanks so much for your thoughts, Stephen! That one came to my mind as well, ....interesting...

"...our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of."

Ah, Propaganda. Your posts never fail to make me smile Gev. :)

Today's carry.

Sorry to hear camping didn't work out but at least the handle on that pukko looks amazing ;) One trick I use before walking my dog is laundry fresh lint sheets.

Just realised that I always forget to include the North River. I may not use it everyday but it's always on me. Today's carry.

Finally had an excuse to carry this Opinel made from scrap wood from the Hermione, a reconstruction of General Lafayette's ship from the American Revolution. That ship in the background... well, that's the Hemione. Pretty cool stuff.
