" To make the best, start with the best - then cook with care" Great photo, Stephen!!:D:thumbup:

Thanks Drew, I love the " Lick Creek"... Absolutely beautiful Northwoods:thumbup:

Rob, two terrific knives...please make a Calender:cool:

Thank you my friend. I looked into my crystal ball tonight and it showed more beautiful Farmers Jacks in your future. ;);):D

Primble - I love your old four line Camillus EO and that cocobolo Humphrey is a real stunner. The distressed Campbell's soup can was on the cover of a magazine that I didn't plan to read, and I got the bright idea of one upping Andy Warhol so I cut it out to give the photo a bit of a 3D feel. :)

Thank you Stephen and I like the Warhol one uppin'.:D

That rail-splitter is fantastic! Not sure how I missed out on that one :sorrow:

Thanks, David, in spite of the showy feathered buffalo horn covers, it's not a museum piece. The 154CM blades are my first on any knife, so I'm not sure if this is common with the steel, but they have an "as ground" finish with quite a bit of uneveness in their appearance. All three blades took a nice edge, we'll see how long they last. I intend to try the sheepfoot on some cardboard come Monday at work.

Beautiful knives Kris. I always enjoy seeing what the Sobral brothers turn out. Damascus San Mai, how great is that!!

Thanks Chris

This wharncliffe lockback whittler that Joel Chamblin made for me is with me on this sunny morning,

Have a great weekend everyone

These 2, today. I think the Pioneer is an EDC, now. I don't even know it's there.

I like that fixed blade. What is the OAL and steel on it?

Just finished doing a practice run through for the wedding tomorrow. Hope it doesn't rain.

My sister's. Thanks though. He asked for my blessing. He's a stand up guy.

How do you carry it? I just looked them up. A little over my budget but certainly one to keep my eye out for in the exchange. Wish they made one around an inch shorter.

It comes with a hand made sheath. I find the length no problem. The handle is pretty slim. They have the "Brave" that's 3 1/2" and the Brave M/T that is less money. Congrats to your sister.

Thanks my friend, I hope you're doing well. I had forgotten about that slogan. "Mmm Mmm Good!" was the one that came to mind for me. :D

Thanks so much for your thoughts, Stephen! That one came to my mind as well, ....interesting...
