No pic, but I am carrying a 34OT today in memory of Dave Swinden, who passed away on June 24th. Dave was a former president of Imperial Schrade and worked there for 50 years. He started there as a window washer, and worked his way up through the ranks.

He is the inventor of the Swinden Key system, and held numerous patents for manufacturing processes. His contributions to the cutlery industry helped shape the way things are done currently.

He was a mentor and consultant to the present day Canal Street Cutlery. He will be sorely missed.
