Good looking Case and indian head nickel Ron~Haven't yet tried Case (surprising I know) but I will someday soon.

I cleaned up and polished all the scratches/patina on this Northwoods I got from Ryan/Lemmy Caution. Nicknaming it the 'blue vein' as Jake/Jsega15 said 'better than the 'blue crack' Going into the pocket~

Toted this with me on my hike today. My friends waited patiently while I took knife pictures (they are becoming used to my knifenutiness).

Nice Camillus Bleh

I have these today

Pete

That is a sweet trifecta Pete!!!
Great to see knives up here that are obviously well used but also well looked after. A special Pic too .... the dark timber really 'sets off' the colors in the knives.

Just finished up my first mod, so I'm carrying this one the rest of the day.

S&M Heritage Jack, now with an Easy Open:

Nice job Jordan. I like that the EO notch is like a gentle valley instead of the more common shape

Nice WW! I just love that dyed camel bone.

Thanks for the compliments, the Schrade Walden H-15 has been in my family since the early 60's, I'm the 3rd owner, and I've probably used it the most, the Case peanut has been in my pocket everyday for the last three and a half years+, and the Gec 26 is a on again off again carry, it's a little tank, it carries small but feels much larger in use.

Thanks again,

Pete

Thanks! I started with the standard notch, but I couldn't go deeper because the blade height is a little small compared to the handle height. So I converted to the gentle valley so I can get a full thumb in there.

Great mod Jordan, that S&M has been on my list to try out, nice pointy spear and the EO will make it great to play with and use.

Totally! I got this one in a trade and have been really happy with it. The EO will definitely help it stay in my pocket for a while. :)

5K Q's, Tim thanks....the Queen barlow is covered with delrin...under 40 and so worth it!

Just got a orange pioneer but the red cadet is so much lighter that it has found a place on the keychain set up

If you ever get a cut, an alox vera plant is good to have
...
Thanks for the info about the Queen barlow, Steve. :) Really like that plant; lots of sweet SAKs in there! :D:D

Why??? How about why not!!!

And if you cut yourself, just ask Swaybacksteve to send you the copper Alox Vera leaf!
Great ideas, Jake!!:p A little copper Alox Vera could certainly cure what ails me!

Had my cocobolo 73 with me today helping me pack up the house:D
...[/URL]
Are you moving soon, Ryan?? If so, best wishes!:thumbup: (Are you trying to stay one step ahead of the Law?? ;))

Had these while working on an EDC Rack and the Eye Witness in Ramshorn in my pocket.

Harry
Great knives, Harry! Keep us posted on the project!:cool:

I doubt I will have time to post what I will be carrying tomorrow so I thought I'd go ahead and post.

We are inducing labor tomorrow at 8am. :D I can't wait to meet my lil girl. :D

These 2 will be there, each mean something to me, but the Uncle Henry was Laura's Pa Pa's knife and, well, I just want him there in a way.
...
Special knives for a super-special occasion, Brett; congrats!:thumbup:

Long time, no see in these parts. Nothing new to report knife-wise. Just carrying the trusty Cuban stockman.
...
Welcome back, Nate! Nice "study in black and white"!:cool:

Carrying my first fold circa 25 years ago.
...
VERY nice, Dunhill! What's the brand of that fine old barlow?

Sweating like a dog at 40° Celsius today...

Queen Gunstock is in my pocket. Like that wonderful knife!

….
Fine knife, Andi! 40x(9/5) + 32 =72+32 = 104 degrees F :eek: That's WAY too hot, Andi! I hope you get a break in the weather soon.

#55 Houndstooth today.
...
Beautiful wood, Bob. :thumbup::thumbup:

Couple of cool knives today, Mark!!:cool:

...R.I.P. Dave Swinden
Thanks for the educational eulogy, Glenn!:thumbup:

Those Rough Rider scouts are really solid tools, aren't they nugun? I call mine "heavy metal"! :p:rolleyes:

In my pocket today:

The #151113STL Che Chen Rosewood - 30 pieces produced (Apple Cider Vinegar Label with Reversed Positions):
...
Kindly gifted to me (a while back) by Old & in the Way. :)
Attractive knife, Primble, but your ceremonial incantations are beyond my comprehension!!:confused:

Just arrived yesterday.
...
Congrats on the classic Camillus, bleh!:cool:

I'm heading to the Adirondacks for the weekend, so I'm covering all bases today. The Remington R-4 and the Buck 301, both beautifully made by Camillus. They're both big and heavy, with more blades than you can shake a stick at. I've got me a spear blade, and coping blade, a clip blade, a sheepsfoot blade and a spey blade. If that isn't enough, I have a can opener, a cap lifter and a wood saw. My pants may be too heavy to stay up, but I will not be underknifed!!!
...
Buzzbait, when I started carrying multiple knives, I found it very effective to get one of those stretchy elasticized belts. You can cinch those babies up REALLY tight! :D:D

Wait for glue to dry , clean up the mess , and by Christmas it will be full of Northfields to choose from on a dailey basis….
Harry
That looks fantastic, Harry! Man, you have a lot of those Northfield barlows! You've mentioned that you always carry a 77; is it always the SAME one, or do you rotate them all into your pocket?

...
my carry today
Old Timer...my dad's, with one of my wife's quilts she so covets...both are old ones.
...
Love the "heritage" knife, Steve!:thumbup: Is that a Mighty Mite?

Some lovely carries folks. Running on empty here after a very long and very hot working day, which isn't over yet, haven't even eaten today, but as I was was slipping out the door early this morning, I felt kind of strangely off-balance, and realised I'd forgotten my knife!! Quickly went back and slipped the RJ in my pocket :)
...
Hope you soon get a chance to cool off, eat, sleep, and visit with EARL, Jack. At least the first 3 of those are pretty essential to a rewarding existence! ;)

I was feeling a little nostalgic this morning :) so this one went in the Rt Front pocket :D
...
And Ole Ike went in the watch pocket right above :D
...
Couple of incredibly gorgeous classics, Ron!:cool:

Always impressed at your quoted replies, GT. I always look forward to them! :)

Love the new handles on your forum knife! The jigging is fantastic!
