What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I just got back from a camping trip in the Sierras. While I carry my #73 most days, when I go outdoors it gets left at home and I take other cutting tools in its place. As soon as I got home I picked her up off the nightstand and dropped her back in my pocket where she belongs. I missed the old girl, she's become a treasured companion.

The mailman brought me an A.Wright & Son Barlow in Peach Buffalo Horn today
Coin edge liners and file worked back spring
Fit and finish is among the best I've seen from A.Wright, but typically is dull as a butter knife
Into the pocket it goes, for some lovin'. I know it will sharpen up nicely

Never thought of it that way, Jack! :D I've never thought of myself as "officer material", but, hey, I'm in charge of a regiment!

Nice to see your Kudeman GT, and what are the covers on the Electrician's Knife may I ask?

Jack that photo is really great, I keep trying to focus on the background and it really makes me want to see it in person.

Thanks a lot Dave, one of my favourite views, an ancient castle behind you, the beautiful River Nidd far below, and an impressive railway viaduct opposite :)

Great knife

Nice pic

Very stylish

A chip off the old block?

Fortunately not!:D:thumbup:

I think GEC's faux Tortoise is super material, glad to see it re-appearing on the Beerscout just this week.

And the Arthur Wright Barlow, very nice indeed

I've had a long, tiring day, showing Earl round Sheffield. Just uploading pics now :) It's like watching paint dry! :(
