a SAK orange Pioneer on a desert hike today....lots of junk out there

not on a flagstone but a rusting piece of a car hood

Thank You, Sir.
I like your choice of background for the Pioneer.

Victorinox secretary, use it for everything. The blade shape is a little different then how it arrived a little more then 5 months ago

...Ivory bone Beer Scout for tonight's carry...
Congrats on the killer Beer Scouts you've picked up, Paul!:thumbup: Have you "de-bailed" all of yours?

...
Today I carried a Swaybackjack in stag along with a silver Alox cadet, both new
...
Congrats on that dynamite duo of new knives, Steve!:thumbup: In the "newest additions" thread, I was admiring your SBJ in stag, and mentioned that I didn't even know such knives existed, and then saw TWO of them at BF today. But I now think that I saw just yours, but in two different threads. Regardless, it's a knock-out!:thumbup::D

...
I carried my old four line Camillus EO Scout today:
...
My goodness gracious sakes alive!!:eek: That knife sure got MY attention, Primble! :D:thumbup::thumbup: (The lanyard is fantastic, too; love that style!)

...Fixie on my boot riding around and the opinel in my pocket at the end of the day of moving.

...
Nice carry (and photo), Tim; that Opinel looks GREAT in your pic!:D

...
I'm thoroughly enjoying some Highland Park 15 year and coon fingerin' my old Schrade.
...
That Schrade barlow has some serious miles on it, bleh; fantastic!!:thumbup: (One of EARL's kinfolk??)

...
Love that trio GT
...
Carrying the 73 again.
...
Thanks, Dave; I do have a severe case of Alox Pox! ;)
I had pretty much decided I'd never buy a GEC knife, but Dave, your stag 73 (and Harry's and Brett's and Ryan's and Paul's and Mark's and Christian's) are sure making me reconsider my position!:o Such absolutely beautiful knives!:thumbup::D

I really enjoy this thread about as much as anything on the net.
I also enjoy my new(to me)Northwoods Williamette I got from another BF member.
My new favorite,
jd
...

Very nice! I can't seem to get mine out of my pocket. Love the blade combination, and it's just so comfortable in the hand.
...
jd and Mike, those 38s are examples of another highly tempting GEC pattern that can make a man question his basic principles.:o

The horn handles on your LionSteel take my breath away, R.c.s.!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks my friend, looks like you're well prepared for the week
...
Thanks, Jack. :) Semper Paratus and all that razzmatazz

It felt rather satisfying to slip these two in my pocket today (less satisfying to have to scroll through page after page of Earl photos in my Photobucket account!) :)
...
Lovely knives, Jack; I'm sure they're more competent and attractive than EARL, but are they as stimulating as EARL was??:rolleyes:;)

I am going to start the day with the IRJ :) Hope everyone has a great day :)
...
Wonderful knife, Ron!:thumbup: Speaking of great days, your IRJ's covers always get me to humming that old song "Blue skies, nothing but blue skies…" :p:p

Still going strong on the Remington R-4 and Camillus/Buck 301.
...
Love that combo, Buzzbait.:thumbup: Are there features of the 301 that indicate that it's Camillus-made?

Very cool photo, Gev. And given my background, there aren't really many knives that give me a warmer, more nostalgic feeling than an equal-end, 2-bladed, shell-handled Imperial jack!!:cool::D

...
I haven't carried this in a while, but I got it out to show my buddy, and is been in my pocket since then.
That's an intriguing knife that I want to see more of, W.M.B. What is it? Does it have horn handles that are out of this world???:D:thumbup:

I started up my chemotherapy sessions again today with this one from my Pal Duncan in my pocket.
...
Hang in there, Bob; the folks on the Porch have got your back!!

Couple of knives I'm carrying this week are a chestnut bone CV Sodbuster Jr and a Rough Rider sowbelly stockman.

Thanks my friend, after a fortnight with Earl, I'm glad to take it easy for a while ;)

That's a good working pair, Andi gifted me a RR Sowbelly Stockman 2 or 3 years back, mine is in smooth tobacco bone with an acorn shield, nice pattern

Thanks! He's a distant cousin to be sure. Not a whole lot of info around to date them more specifically than "sometime between the wars", but they're definitely round about the same vintage. Here's my best pic of the Schrade. Posing with books of similar age.
