That's an intriguing knife that I want to see more of, W.M.B. What is it? Does it have horn handles that are out of this world???:D[emoji106]

That is an old Mklein and sons hawk bill, that my wife's grandfather found, run over, in the road. I reworked it a while back. I raise sheep, and decided to use the horn from one of my rams that was headed off to the freezer. Thank you for the compliment :-)

...For me today:
….
Just like old times, Tom: you have a terrific twosome today! The horn handles on your Queen are awesome!:cool:

That Powderhorn sure is a magnificent knife, Duane! I could look at that one every day!:D

Thanks my friend, after a fortnight with Earl, I'm glad to take it easy for a while ;)

That's a good working pair, Andi gifted me a RR Sowbelly Stockman 2 or 3 years back, mine is in smooth tobacco bone with an acorn shield, nice pattern
You definitely deserve a rest, Jack! :p:thumbup: Thanks for the kind words about my knives :); whenever I put my RR Sowbelly Stockman in my pocket, it stays there for longer than I originally intended! Yours with smooth tobacco bone and acorn shield must look very nice; I really like that particular combination.

Thanks! He's a distant cousin to be sure. Not a whole lot of info around to date them more specifically than "sometime between the wars", but they're definitely round about the same vintage. Here's my best pic of the Schrade. Posing with books of similar age.
...
Great pic of a fine old knife, Sean; thanks! ;)

...
GT - Thank you for the compliment :) 2 nice ones your Totin' today
Thanks, Ron! :)

...
Thanks for the compliment!! There is something about the old shell knives that gives that feeling of which you speak. I had it all day;) Thanks, GT!!
...
You're welcome, sir. :)

...
I wore my cargo pocket short britches today Mark: :D:D:D
...
Holy Hand Grenade, Primble, that's quite an impressive cargo you had in your short britches!:p:p
Will you please remind me when you start your inventory reduction sale on those fine old barlows?? :D:D

Yea, its a sheepsfoot [emoji5]

And it's well loved, even if I keep trying to trade it off. [emoji33]
LOL! You crack me up, Kyle! :D:D:thumbup:

Three wonderful knives, Stephen; I'm especially impressed by the jigging on your Monday carry!!:cool:

That's quite a story with that knife; thanks for sharing it! I hope we can see another photo soon! (Or maybe I should plan a knife-viewing road trip, since I noticed you're in Hesperia and I'm over in Grand Rapids.)

David, you have (or, had? where do you store all these beauties you post??) some incredible knives, including lots of stunning custom jobs!:cool: But for an old fuddy-duddy, oatmeal every morning for breakfast guy like me, there are not many knives you have that I like better than that prosaic production knife right there!! :D:thumbup:

A wore-slap-out Buck 303 thats older than I am. After using a file on the toothpick-thin blades and thinning the edge out a bit before using the DMT's on it, its up to having that fingerprint grabbing edge that I love so much. Ah... Its still got plenty of life left to it.

where can i get one of these?...The Forum knife,or a knife with same pattern?
what do i call it,to search for one?
Thank you for posting this one....:)
Thank you,
jd
P.S.this is one of my favorite knives, hate I missed out.....

It's the 2011 Forum knife - only place you can get them, I think, is off the exchange. Enjoy the hunt! :)

Thanks GT - I have a hearty bowl of oatmeal each morning myself :) - helluva way to start the day
I have a real fondness for the 2011 Forum knife too, and custom or not, that piece (and a whole lot of other production pieces I see here) takes a backseat to no one :)

Sorry I haven't been around lately guys. It's been just crazy down here. First it was a trip to AR with a 3 day turnaround, then back home to Texas. The last 3 days have been spent packing and moving. Today was the "official" big day, unfortunately we're only 3/4 done. We should wrap it up on Thursday tho.

There's been so many wonderful knives posted, I can't comment on them all. But a blanket statement goes out to everyone, AWESOME knives!!
Throughout all this mess and upheaval, I've carried my stag 73 and my kabar scout every day:) they've been a welcome tool set.👍🏻

Photobucket seems to not be working for me at the moment, so no pics :(
I'm sure yall already know what they look like anyways😅
Have a wonderful night everyone!

When at work, my Ontario Rat ll or Benchmade Griptillion and a small Vic Classic on my keychain. Every other day I carry my Helle Temagami instead of a folder. As you may know, here in Canada, we can open carry fixed blades in a sheath.

Good idea PMP! I mean Rob! :D That is a load in your cargo short britches! :D:D:D

GT - always enjoy seeing the Case Sodbuster Jr.

Mark and GT - I reckon I am going to have to get a stouter belt if I try that again. :o:o:D

David - great knife ! You can reel in your catch now. ;):D:D:D

Maybe a bit unorthodox but these were my only carries today, albeit temporary...a project for the man cave. Apologies for the photo reflections. You'll note the dog crates. I'd love to call it a man cave but truly it's the dog house. ;)
