I've got this Remington R155 Tear Drop Jack and
my Hampton "Lanny's Clip". The Remington still
has full blades and excellent 'walk and talk"
both are nice and sharp! Hampton speaks for itself!
Touch choice today so I dropped my new GEC ebony spear dogleg into my pocket. Interested to see how it looks after riding around in my pocket with keys and change plus developing a little patina on the blade.
Not too traditional? Case Trapperlock on the belt and a warnclif minitrapper in in the back. On work days it's usually a Case Baby Butterbean or tiny Three Bladed Stockman. We're not susposed to cary "wepons" at work!
My oldest daughter (11 and 1/2) was next to me this morning when I opened the knife drawer, and she wanted to pick out my knife for today. I didn't argue, and ended with a favorite
Hoopster: They call that second cut antique bone. It looks "greener" and "drabber" in the stock photos than it actually is. I like that handle material, but only have one other knife with it. Oddly, both knives I own with that scale material were given to me (this one in a give away by bakerg2g (Jason)) and the other a mini copperlock given to me by Wilgoy. I like both of them a great deal. - Ed
This picture is a bit better than the one posted earlier.
Thanks Ed, you're right, both of the knives you pictured are a lot less green than case's stock photos. I'll have to keep that handle material in mind. I reallly like the looks of that mini copperlock.
That's the mini trapper I cary in my back pocket, and it is beautiful. I wish Case would make this pattern in single blade more often, it just feels so good in my hand.
