Bringing along the jack today after an overnight tea soak. I like the outcome.

Leaving for a little road trip through the Shenandoah National Forest to the beach in NC. Only taking these two. I have everything I need. Enjoy your weekends!!!

The whittler along with the "Swiss army knife of pens" that my Daughter gave me should have all the bases covered today.

Bit of a coincidence Mark - from Carl's Lounge:

Jack Black. What is that pen in your pics?

Purty interesting.

It was sold as an 'Engineer's Pen'. Someone gave me one for my birthday, and as Scruff had admired it, I bought him one. There was no packaging with it. It's brushed stainless steel with a spirit-level and a rule on the side (only 'cheating inches' unfortunately), and the top unscrews to reveal a couple of small useful screwdrivers. Real MacGyvor stuff! :D

I just did a search online, and you can pick them up for a third of what I paid, and with proper inches! :grumpy: :D

Spooky! :D

LOL! Very good :D Thank you my friend

I was going to pocket the lanny's today, but my watch pocket is too small on these pants, so I went with something a bit more modest. Camillus serpentine Jack

Thanks Gev:)! Only the sheath is Anza though, the knife is a Maresharp special:D

I thought it looked familiar. If I would have read what you said in the post instead of fixating on the knife...lol! It is a beauty.

Jack
The Joker looks line a nice carry today.

Bleh I love seeing that old jack.
I am also carrying an old Camillus today.

Thanks Erik! Yours is looking mighty fine as well. I'm always on the lookout for swell centers; that looks like a great example, and I love the matchstrike pull. When does that one hail from?

Got out the elk stag trapper today.

It was Cocobolo today :) But I can say for sure it will be Brazilian Bloodwood tomorrow!!
All I have to do now is figure out which one of these beauties has the most Curb Appeal :D:eek::D

Thanks, I picked it up from a knife shop in Blue Ridge GA. They got a load from some estate sales, and this was one of the only decent smallish knives that they had left. So far I have dated it to around '45-50.

Mine's the same vintage. Have any shots of yours with the blades open? is it a 3 blade or 2?

Thank you for the journey, Erik! What an interesting maker and a beautiful knife!!!

Jack
It reminded me to get out my Aitor Castor!! And of course your meeting with Scruff
