What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carried this #99 to work today. I can't explain how this just feels like the "original" pocket knife. I know it's not. But just seems to embody utilitarian pocket cutlery. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1438225763.832866.jpg

What a sweet pair, Paul!! That lime cutter is super!!

Ryan
The Anza looks like a great user indeed!! And i will echo the love for your 73:D

Thanks Gev:)! Only the sheath is Anza though, the knife is a Maresharp special:D

Paul, that's quite a sweet pair my friend!! I doubt there's much those two couldn't tackle:):)

Cheers Dave, the spring widens as it moves away from the pivot, apparently a regular feature on Sheffield knives in the far past, but it disappeared at some point. I'll try to get pics soon :)
Off to the docs this morning for a routine check-up. Thought I'd carry my Kastor Doctor's Knife :)

Thanks Jack, Looks like a great photo to me.
Glad your doing well Jack after the Doctor visit. That Kastor was a great companion, Adolf Kastor was the father of so many knife companies it is amazing. :D

Dave, your yellow stockman is nice, but I have trouble focusing on it with all those distracting beauties under glass! :D:thumbup:
Here it is Wednesday already, and I don't think I've yet posted any of the knives I'm carrying this week. They include a couple from davek14, an Imperial toothpick and a 34OT.

Today my daughter is coming home from Spain to visit for a month, and I always carry one of the knives I got when I visited her in Spain. This week it's my JJ Martinez "Spanish sodbuster".

Thanks GT, I'm so glad you're Daughter is visiting and the JJ Martinez "Spanish sodbuster" is a great knife and reminder. The Imperial and 34OT were very nice of davek14:thumbup:

Thank you Dave, good looking Schrade and I really like the selection of knives you've got for display in the back. Is it a wall hanger? I often hope to do so in the future but worry of tenacious fingers opening the case and them all falling out xD
Thanks Tim, no, it is not a wall hanger (although I have seen some great ones here) it was a gift so I have to keep it filled. :D;) Super nice looking photo and 56 dogleg btw.

Thanks Dave, also on that Pioneer, I changed out the split ring to a smaller diameter one, a lot handier carry that way, as the original one was far wider than the knife itself

And here is a link to how to tie that diamond knot

Thanks Gary, that is the link I was looking for, I have to make some time to try it. Oh and thanks for the tip on the smaller split ring. I have a few volunteers for the upgrade. :D
Oh, and your photos are fantastic,

Pete got me interested in my Eisenhower but I had to bring the 73 to the BBQ also.

Into town today had to tidy myself up and choose an appropriate carry ... #77 at a well known 'Scottish' restaurant

Derek

I don't know who should feel more appreciative..... the knife or the sandwich. Either way, that's a clean cut, and appetizing meal. So maybe they should be thankful for each other. :)

Food looks delicious and that knife is one of the all time greats, I treasure mine. Great picture:thumbup:

Thank you Dave, perfect duo to combat any bbq tasks. Really enjoy everyone's 73's as of late, I need to get one in hand to see how it feels (always looked just a touch bottom heavy to me)

I'm going all 'continental' today ;)

Jack and a Joker, all we need is batman~ *bad early morning humor (in reference to Nicholson)

Good looking blade though :)

analog doesn't lie~ Well it can get lazy and slow thought but like many things I enjoy all traditional that require care and maintenance.
My first GEC, the peachseed for today

Nice peanut "à la " Buck handles

Today' lunch : let me introduce the Alsacian flammekueche. Beer mandatory of course! Wharncliffe blade proved very practical to cut the parts.

The whittler along with the "Swiss army knife of pens" that my Daughter gave me should have all the bases covered today.
