What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Amazing jigging and dye on that one Mark, fantastic work, impressive to say the least. Marcus Arealius, haha, some of my favorite quotes and philosophy come from him, and now I can add craftsmanship and cutlery to the list.

Mine to David, "Waste no time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one" & many others quotes as well. I just need to learn how to spell his last name;):D

Getting over my jet lag, well not quite a jet. Great knives Marko, Brett, Jim, and everyone ! I worked on my other NYKC Barlow today and got it up to speed. Gary put a keen edge on it at the Rendezvous:

Primble, that NYKC has a lot of character  I know it is shaving sharp now thanks to Gary.
Still can't believe how little you have invested in that classic :D:D:D

I always love seeing that beautiful 73 Paul. Haha, I didn't think I would spell it right either;) so I copied you. :o:D I was carrying my 73 earlier but I didn't post a picture of it because I didn't want to copy you. :D

Thanks Bob, Tim and Brother Paul for the compliments. The blade is from a #15 knife brite cap lifter. The bolsters are copper and I dyed and jigged the bone. :)

I'm an Epictetus man myself. The ex-slave speaks more to my condition than does the emperor Marcus Aurelius Antoninus. (Not sure of my sp. either)

Thank You Mark and Luc! Carried the gunstock again today.

This one today. In fact, I will carry it all week.

Out for a hike with my family this morning, these two are with me today,

Rick Menefee drop point and a Lanny's Clip from Doc Hagen

The knives lately are really just amazing. I am stunned at some of these photos - holy cow!

But this one. This one has captured my soul and damn, I can't stop looking at it and thinking about it; and knowing that Rick is just an astounding knifemaker, well...aw heck, I couldn't afford it anyway. But what an awesome dream...

Photo from yesterday, but it's in my pocket today.
