Its Pretty good. Id say on par with most Case stuff, definitely not GEC fit and finish, but for a pure user, very good. The blades have good walk and talk, other than being a bit notchy, like the tang is octagonal. or decagonal. my only gripe is the beartrap springs. Its a tough opener.
I looked at your pics of the walnut Railsplitter, and now i know what you meant by a handful of knife. This thing is beefy!

Thanks for the summary. Really glad to see that you are satisfied. The action on mine is kind of notchy too but I got used to it real fast.

Nothing special here. Tried and true soddie jr. Just a beautiful day spent with my son opening bottles of bubble solution for the bubble machhine and hot dogs for the grill. This little soddie does not have a bad life at all!

Got this last week. JD Ware handmade small folder. Blade 440C stainless steel. Satin finish, hollow grind, Handle Guayucan (Lignum Vitae), Nickel Silver liners and pins. Silver 1925 ten centavo shield.
