Gev, that is a great Old Hammer

You really cleaned up at the Rendezvous Ron.:D:D

More like Cleaned Out, meaning my wallet, but totally Priceless in every way!:D:D

A shamefully overly polished Cattaraugus today. I wish someone hadn't stolen it's patina. I guess a few decades of use might bring it back.

Mark, that is a very nice Cat :D:D

Totin' the EC Simmons KK stockman this morning. I'd sure like to know how that chunk got taken out of the clip main!

I've seen a lot of electrician's knives with all sorts of weird damage to the blades. I suspect contact with a live wire may be the cause of some of the damage. Don't know if that's the cause of the damage on your knife. Maybe someone with an electrician's background will know.

Nice knife though.

Bark River Parang just arrived. The Postal lady had to carry it to the door!:D
Heading out to my tree stands to clear some brush, then going fishing. :)

Thanks guys, it is nice bone. Jake you're probably right, I didn't think of it getting "arced," but I agree with you.

Just arrived yesterday. I really like this little #83 lockback. I can't find a single flaw on it. Great buy for the money.

My daily Edc traditional knife is a Victorinox Cadet. I also carry a Leatherman Micra a rexford rut and a primary folder daily. I find with this assortment I have the right tool for most Edc tasks.

Buck 055. Scheduled for a new knee on 25 August so this is the only one I'll carry until then and take to the hospital with me.

Good luck with the new knee Ed. I had both mine replaced a couple years ago. Physical Therapy diligence is the key. Start now because every little bit helps later on. You need to work through the pain. I found a bicycle was among the best therapy.

That will make a good companion. Good luck with the knee, Ed.

Is that a GEC ?

Yes, Brian2go, that is a GEC #83 in green micarta. It's called a Tascosa and available now at GEC's authorized dealers.
If this has already been answered, sorry I missed the answer. If it wasn't answered sorry we missed the question.

Thank you Jack. As figured, fishing after lunch in August just proved to be hot. ;):D
I have one similar with less blade. Love the shield !:thumbup::)
I would love to not catch some fish with you and listen to you babble....lol!:thumbup::D

I look forward to being here with you when the patina is in full swing again;) A masterpiece!!

Thanks, Ron!! Nothing like a beautiful gunstock with some super stag!!

This one just grabbed my heart and will stay in my pocket. I just can't do it justice in pictures. It has that old time feel:D And it's from Mark ( who is out whacking down brush with that magnificent Bark River Parang:eek: and catching some trophy bass:p:D).

Bob
That 83 is a true gem!!

Ed
My best friend is 70 now and had both knees replaced just a few years ago, and he is doing martial arts every day now!!! The key is the religious doing of rehab, like was said. We support you!!
