What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm not normally a very envious person, but whenever I see that Erickson Cattle Knife, I get a little green. There a few that pop up on a regular basis that really hit the spot for me- and that one is at the top of the list.

Congratulations (again) to you and to Ken for that one.

It's a beautiful merger of concept and craftsmanship!

Thank you, David, that's very kind of you.

British Army type pocket knife today. Tough little thing and legal to EDC here.

Maxx- that soddie is just saweeeet- that match strike nail nick is such a perfect fit for a sodbuster. I was gonna let my old scout knife ride along with the peanut tomorrow but you're makin it difficult to not get the cv soddie out.

I'm glad you like the knife - and the picture ;)

yes I really like it, light slim and sharp, the pic really shows it's "simple beauty"

Ed, glad you posted that picture. I was wondering what that bone looked like.

All these harness jacks showing up in the last few days has me wanting one myself; I've never owned a knife with an awl/reamer/punch before.

Parker Cutlery 3" blade trapper w/ clip and spey, passed down from my dad. Rebeveled to 12 deg/side on the clip and 20 on the spey, both tree topping sharp. I even used it to carve my daughter her first sling shot.

lately i have been carrying a black sodbuster jr. in my pocket, but have a few times wished i had more blade for things at the bodyshop, so today i put my large black case sodbuster on my belt, used the big one for the big chores (cutting rubber or plastic bumpers) that big handle is just flat out easy one the hands, and i use the junior for everything from opening boxes to slicing up some lunch today. i was really glad i had both of them with me today as i used them both many times throughout the day.

thanks

Took this little Erickson Swayback with me today.

Today it was the Buck DW 301 Stockman and a Case Amber Bone Mini Trapper in Tru-Sharp.

For most of the day I put them in the same pocket and when I needed to cut something I just reached in and whichever one came out did the task. They both did well for the day. I'm still kind of thinking that the 301's blades are a little thick, though.

I have been carrying this one a lot lately: Case 6344 small shadow stockman gifted to me by a friend.

Today I have a Kershaw Wild Turkey with a Damascus blade. It's a great little lock back.

I'm carrying the S&M swell center jack today. I really like the pattern and the size, so it is going to ride in my LFP today.
