What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

this one showed up a few days ago, it's glorious. Sharpest knife I've ever owned.

This one rolled in on my lunch break. It's a beast!

And I tucked my 83 in my pocket this morning just for good measure.

Carrying this long slender beauty today, a Friedrich Hartkopf generously sent to me by Paul (pmew), and which had been sent his way by Andi. Needless to say, but this will always be a very special knife to me when I carry and enjoy it :)
Thanks Paul :thumbup::thumbup:

Beautiful knives and photos today! :) I took this old gentleman to work with me today.;)
This is the 2nd of 3 recent gun show finds. This old Hibbard Spencer Bartlett and Co. Cattle Knife
is still a very solid old knife. With a lot of character and life left in it. The blades all have Half/Stops
and are still factory tight. Someone has did a number on the secondary blade so I don't really know what it
was, I suspect it was a spey originally. The master may have been tipped somewhere in its life, if it has
the person that reground it did a perfect job on it. The punch is the first I have seen of this type.
All in all a great old companion to have in the pocket. :rolleyes::D

Thanks Skylarhaglar, and Tim for your suggestions. I'm gonna keep my eye out for M-Pro7 and 10weight nano oil.

The HSB looks like a fine carry!! Enjoy!

That looks pretty nice Gevo !!!!!

Harry

I am enjoying the old thing. It seems Brantford Cut. Co. U.S.A. ...was a trademark used by the Butler Brothers from 1896-1930. They used the slogan "Warranted Never Dull". I found a picture of a box on another site
