What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Now for some knife content. I think this old Remington will spend the workday with me tomorrow. A recent post has got me wanting to carry it.

I am thinking of it too. It seems to be stuck in New York right now. :o Hoping to get it by late week.

I told Marko that he can't do any web surfing till my NYKC Barlow gets re-handled. He must be having technical difficulties !:confused::D:D

Carried my trusty Ken Coats Jack today. (and yes, I carry a coin pouch) :D

I've carried a coin pouch just like that for 30+ years (except it's black). I get ribbed for being "an old man" for it, but I don't see who couldn't like them! :D

PS: And a pocket watch also!

It's been a while for me too. :) I remember when I got my first one. I was still in the Army and I got out in 1982. Been using them daily ever since. I go through them pretty fast. The one in the picture is probably my twentieth one or something like that. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I never see anybody using one anymore these days.
...
Rick and Jeff, I'm a coin pouch fan, too! :p:thumbup: Here's a photo of mine with a bunch of SAKs. My daughter gave me the pouch, a Mackinac Island souvenir, about 20 years ago. I happen to be carrying the Alox Electrician, the Camper (with saw), and the Minichamp (with the hangman's noose lanyard/fob) this week.

I also have a pocket watch, but rarely carry it, since it has too much sentimental value for me to risk losing it. An uncle gave it to one of my grandfathers, he gave it to my dad, and Dad gave it to me a couple of years ago. Here's a photo that shows the watch's fancy case; the peanut in the photo is also a knife I'm carrying this week (and every week, for that matter).

GT, That's a mighty fine looking watch. Lots of history behind it and a priceless family heirloom I'm sure. Thank you for sharing it.

I don't know how you guys get such longevity out of your coin pouches. I'm lucky to get two years out of one. Mine always develop a tear in the same spot. Never fails. Good thing they are cheap and readily available.

I've been wanting to get myself a Minichamp for several months but I'm not sure how much I would use it. Been eyeballing the Alox versions. Is that a pen sticking out of yours near the open blade? I wasn't aware that the Minichamp had a pen because I've only really checked out the Alox models.

carry my custom scratchbuilt tiger maple trapper, and this modded by forum member case today.
