Was blessed to get this last week! The ULTIMATE Jared Oeser Native !!

Sharp CTS XHP steel and wrapped in the "unicorn" of handle materials... RAG MICARTA

That's about as good as it gets Todd!

My name should be coming up soon on Joel's list....so many choices but that fireclone Damascus has had my attention since the day you first posted you whittler.

That is very exciting, I will look forward to what Joel builds for you. Mike Norris damascus not only looks goods, but performs as good as it looks. Mike began his career as a pipe and tube welder in the petrochemical, paper, nuclear, and boiler industry, and has been making and selling stainless damascus since 1995.

To stay on topic - I didn't actually carry a pocket knife today since I didn't get out, but yesterday I had the Canal Street Eric's Jack with me again, as well as a Case Sod Buster Jr. in Amber Bone SS.

Recycled pics:

Couple of very striking knives, John!!:thumbup: The stag on your Eric's Jack is incredible, and, although I'm not always impressed with Case's amber bone, the covers on your Sodbuster Jr really look fantastic!

Is that your Moose, Shane? If so, I'm glad to see that it's not work, work, work for that old boy; he deserves some time off with chips and salsa!:D

LOL! Nice choices btw!!!
Thanks, Robert. :)

Erik...Today it's going to be one of these, but which one eh?:D

Thanks, Will
Stellar stag lineup from which to choose, Will!:thumbup::eek:

Been waiting to properly show this off. It's finally finished and in the pocket for today

This took alot of work to get to this point..but it's now one of my favourite pieces in my collection and rotation.
A complete reshape into a zulu spear by Bob :D and eventually a regrind to a slicer from the king of them, Tom Krein.

Super, Tim; that looks like it was well worth the time and effort!!:cool:

Nice pic, Will, I love the flaired butt on the single blade 25. My primitive bone #73 is in pocket, and has the same basic flair, which feels so good in the hand.
...

Jeff: I thought I was the only one who likes a "big butt" knife. I think there is a song about it , but should leave it at that. Here's my Viper. Sorry picture doesn't do justice to the flair.
...
Jeff and Steve, thanks for illustrating the charms of a "flare butt" handle!:p

Today is a Jack Russell that Jerry Halfrich made for me, old growth redwood burl and M4 at 62 RC, along with my whittler from Joel Chamblin, amber stag and Mike Norris "Fire Clone" stainless damascus(19c-27,D2,302). Paul Long sheath.

Kris, that amber stag damascus Chamblin whittler continues to leave me speechless (but at least it hasn't paralyzed my fingers - yet)!!:cool:

GEC #12 Powderhorn Jack is with me today
...
Those 2-blade toothpicks sure are appealing, Andi!:thumbup:

This all-steel scout I bought yesterday. Made in USA is all it says. I extemporized the can-opener nubbin from a 4d finish nail.

Nice old "no-name" scout knife, scrteened porch!:thumbup:

Day 7 of my wharncliffe week:
Lhpanther, that heart-stopping stag is unbelievable; thanks for sharing a pic of such a glorious knife!!:eek::thumbup:

My Scout felt like the perfect Oregon autumn knife today

Spectacular Scout and photo, Drew!:cool:

Great knives again everyone!

Thanks "5K Qs; for your comment on my Eric's Jack.

Carried these two today.

You're welcome, Ken. You have a real dynamic duo today; the green Cadet is sweet, but the pearl Eisenhower is so elegant!:cool:

Thanks my friend, it's been a great day :)

Those are two knives I like
...
Thanks, Jack. :)

Part of the Sunday routine is choosing knives for this week. Among the "winners" are:
a Kutmaster stockman (from Last Rodeo - man, he can sharpen a knife!)
AXuDPg4l.jpg

a Rough Rider stag canoe (that looks better to me each time I look at it!)
l3lYZbHl.jpg

and a Spanish sodbuster by JJ Martinez from a cuchilleria in Granada, Spain (ah, the memories!)

GT ty for the compliment on my Scout and photo. I have to say you always impress the heck out of me with the time you take to comment on so many knives in this thread. Cheers to you for helping make this forum such a positive, friendly place.:thumbup:

Carrying this one today.

I really like the etch on this blade, but that broken tip!!!
So I turned into sort of a sheepsfoot, it works nicely now...:)

Ditto that.

I think these things are like a security blanket to me, and the all-steel construction on this one makes me feel even more secure.

I gotta agree with Drew GT. Thanks always for the kind words.

The stag on that canoe is wonderful to look at

Nice Tim
Thank you Jack, hope you had a great weekend

Can't wait for mine to be back in hand Drew,
and Bob's work is immaculate. The scout shield still draws me in.

Much better!

I agree Mark :)

:D:D:D:cool::thumbup: I'll bet that thing is a real slicer now. ;)
I also like the new satin blade finish.

Likewise, it's been in the pocket for 3 days straight now including today.
