What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

dispatch184 - Thank you! Like it?! I absolutely love this beauty!!! I'm unaware if you've notice or not, but I've posted this baby three or four days in a row..... and probably got two or three more days left. Now that says a lot! :) :D

It is a dang cool knife, congrats :) what are the handles made of? Willem does fine work, especially for how reasonable he is.

Erik Those Trestle Pine Copperheads look like a decent work-knife Can't make up my mind which to go for, perhaps Ash?

Today it's going to be one of these, but which one eh?:D

Thanks, Will

Been waiting to properly show this off. It's finally finished and in the pocket for today

This took alot of work to get to this point..but it's now one of my favourite pieces in my collection and rotation.
A complete reshape into a zulu spear by Bob :D and eventually a regrind to a slicer from the king of them, Tom Krein.

Nice pic, Will, I love the flaired butt on the single blade 25. My primitive bone #73 is in pocket, and has the same basic flair, which feels so good in the hand.

Today is a Jack Russell that Jerry Halfrich made for me, old growth redwood burl and M4 at 62 RC, along with my whittler from Joel Chamblin, amber stag and Mike Norris "Fire Clone" stainless damascus(19c-27,D2,302). Paul Long sheath.

Superb, Kris! The Jack Russell is such a nice knife to carry and use. The stag and Damascus on your whittler is just awesome.

This all-steel scout I bought yesterday. Made in USA is all it says. I extemporized the can-opener nubbin from a 4d finish nail.

Jeff: I thought I was the only one who likes a "big butt" knife. I think there is a song about it , but should leave it at that. Here's my Viper. Sorry picture doesn't do justice to the flair.

Tim: That is a great interpretation/mod of the S&M...that started out as a Quart? I haven't even thought that it was possible. I love that Zulu blade! Your collection is always amazing, high five to you!

Will Power: It is nice to see the good reviews of the Trestle Pine Superior . Maybe this will help: for the first run there were 41 Ash made, 38 Oak, 32 Yellow Birch, and 27 Maple. There were also 4 each of redwood and ironwood, but they are long gone. I myself am waiting for some Ash. I hope a picture shows up some time, if not I'll post it.
