Glad to see you found your Grail!!! A very fine knife indeed!! Is the rhomboid handle shape comfortable in hand?

It is, the butt cap was a little sharp edged, so I fixed that. It seems right at home with food prep too :)
 
This just came in the mail and kicked everything else out of my pocket for a while. I am immensely pleased with this knife, it has become a grail I never knew I needed. I wish I could capture the shimmering effect of the wood better, it is super sweet!

So I tried this alone today,except for the keyring Vic exec.

Didn't work.
Although it's the smallest knife I have with a saw, the main blade is just too short.
Tomorrow I think the big Vic and the #7 opinel.
