Wow, that's like the 1927 Yankees of Oeser knives right there Todd!

Made me smile! Thanks. You caused me to order the Trestle Superior knife with the wharncliffe blade. Excited.

Gev - Simple and timeless my friend! :)

Among the knives I've been carrying this week that I don't think I've posted during the week are a Winchester dogleg jack (thanks, Paul), a Keen Kutter Office Knife (thanks, Mark), and, as always, a Case peanut (thanks, Cory):

Sturzi, you have excellent taste in knives, i especially like that Stockman. 👍🏻

Thanks, I'm usually not a Stockman person, but this one with its thin blades and unusual blade selection is the exception, getting plenty of pocket time.

Unfortunately now I'm under those clouds again, got to get back up there next week if the weather plays nice. :)

Those are really good shots of the IRJ. I didn't know they were powder steel.

I think it is the stainless powdersteel that sets the IRJ 2014-15 and the new EDB 2015 apart, from most other production traditionals.
The leatherslip it came with, also works very well in the front pocket.

The blade was convexed on a waterstone and polished to a userfinish.

It's the combination of design, steel and the overall solid impression, that makes it to my pocket.
A workhorse that is nice to use!

"Doctor's Knife"

I think the rounded spade type blade was used to crush pills. Kinda neat.

I believe the "spade" blade was for counting/sorting pills, and the square end of the handle was for crushing.
Very nice mother of pearl.

Wonderful shot Sturzi!

The 73 and 77 for today as I celebrate 6 years. Hope you all have a great weekend.
