What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

There's a huge difference in the size (and relative pocketability) between the larger and the smaller WT's.

I have a 4" CV trapper and the smaller 3,5" one and they're SOOOO different, when the smaller one arrived I couldn't belive ow "small" it was

small BUT cool  oh and it's a great restaurant user :D

enetered the custom edc world 5 mins ago with this

Eddie T. Elsmore slippie
sambar stag and AST-34

it's made pretty well and I'm happy of the trade
has a crack in the stag (center) but it souldn't be a problem actually
will give it a light sharpening and polishing

got my trusty but not rusty yella cv case peanut in my watch pocket and my large black case sodbuster on my belt, and the sun is shining and the weather is warm at last, it's gonna be a good monday.

thanks

I'm taking my father's old Case peanut out today. This is one of the knives that I ended up with after he passed away and what really got me into traditionals.

Congrats, Maxx. Some nice stag and a useful looking blade profile.

Enjoy it!!!

thanks guys
I have to work on the edge a bit, it's a bit too thick for my likings

EDIT:

EDGE works now, not crazy sharp due to geometry but now it cuts, about 1+ mm high and polished
now it even has a grat tip, will post pecs, sure

does anyone actually have an idea what it could be called? a single blade trapper? spey bulled? next to a #73's with opened spey it is very similar

Really nice peanut in very good condition!

I used these two on a packaging project today:

and I'm carrying my peanut for the comfort of having it in my pocket.

This is what I carried today.
Opinel No. 8 in the back pocket vertical on the outboard side of the wallet.

Case Peanut in the right front pocket.

Opinel was great for box duty!

You see, if you "crop" your images beforehand (as I just did with your original) then there's no need for apologies or going off-topic within the thread. ;)

Today received my first purchase of GEC products: two whittlers. One is a half whittler with a spear point master blade and snake wood handle. The other a full whittler with turquoise bone handles.

Remarkable fit and finish. Both knives very slim, very light;I have started carrying the half whittler. I'm used to a bit more heft. Time will tell if I can adapt to this.
