Thanks Ron, appreciate the compliment.

Very nice, Gary! G2 sheath looks great, and I am sure it is sharp, as Gary really knows how to put an edge on.

Headed out with Cleo for a hike this afternoon, these two are with me

My much used and carried Fallkniven Jarl in curly birch and laminated 3G steel, along with a Hartkopf in thuya burl and 330 layer damascus forged by Markus Balbach

I highly recommend Formby's lemon oil for your wood handles, also works great for natural stag.

:thumbup: Great 77 and patina Sam.

I sold my AB 81 and regretted it. This one showed up last week but I was out of town. Thanks again Jeff (arizonaranchman). It feels great to have it it the back pocket against my wallet again!

Cheers Gev and Brett. Lovely patina on that #81 too:)

Thanks Kris. Yes, the Thiers arrived super sharp. I expect that Gary had something to do with that. I'm a fan of Formby's also. Great stuff.

Nice carries today!

Thanks Sam, that was earned by Jeff. I agree, he did well by this one. Wonderul pull on the main. I would say around a 5. Switched over to the GL Drew to poorly carve a few pumpkins. :D

Disclaimer: No phone books were harmed during the taking of this photo!

^ I find using it in the half stop position allows me to really utilize the fine tip LOL

Picked up these two for $3

1950s George Schrade "Say It With Flowers" Handy Jack and this Premier, German Shoe figural knife, looks like 50s.

Does this ever happen to anyone else? I often spend a relatively long time replying to multiple posts in a thread, and then somehow forget to actually post my replies (I "preview" them, but then apparently forget that last click to post). Seems like it happens to me about 10% of the time. :( Not sure when I originally wrote this - probably Friday or Saturday.

...Thanks GT, the handles are Bexoid, a synthetic which was also used on British WW2 clasp knives. I had a RR Gunstock Canoe once, but gifted to ScruffUK, who used to post here. I'm surprised that type of finish isn't seen more often. More on the knife here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1184098-Needham-Hill-Street-Sheffield/page2, as well as in the Military Clasp Knife thread.
...
A great squad of knives there my friend

Did you notice my post here - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-Antique-Centre-Spree?p=15277106#post15277106 - BTW?
Jack, thanks for the handle information, and for the compliments on my knives. :) And, no, I did not notice your post in the antique center spree thread until you pointed it out!!:(:o Thanks for the information about that Saturnalia knife, and for the very generous offer! :D:thumbup: PM coming your way very soon.

Thanks Gary!!! Hey great EDC selection this week buddy!

Here's the Farmer (I split the pics today)

fri%20sak%20edc_zpsecirmyfu.jpg
Thanks, Robert. :) That orange Farmer is a natural for October!! :p

It is a handy little knife. Did you get it at What-a-Burger? :D

Oh Lord, I can get Camillus knives at WAB too? *runs out the door like a cartoon character*
I remember that April deal, Rachel; I think I fell for it hook, line, and sinker!:D
Don't do it, Joe!!

Olive Green Farmer and Kutmaster Barlow

Splendid knives, Woodrow! Have you had the olive green Farmer for a while?

Gev, the bread looks very tasty, the knife is splendid, but that lanyard is fantastic!!

...GT - That is a super trio your totin' this week!
...Raining and around the house today with this Huckleberry!:D

Thanks for the kind words, Ron. :)
Those simple 15s look SO classic to me; great knife, sir!

I am just saying... this is a very special knife!

Trestle Pines Knives: Superior Model in Maple! LOVE it. Fit and Finish for a Queen is tops... 154 CM steel is super indeed... and to have a centered wharnie blade, I am happy. So far. I plan on using this one. Worth the risk of picking one up in my opinion.
That Swedge tho!

Cool Spartan showing its colors, Robert!

...Carrying my Davison today :) Hope everyone has a great Sunday

Your self-control is amazing, Jack; how do you not carry that Davison EVERY day??:thumbup:;)

...I've got this one with me today.

Congrats, p&g; those covers are awesome!!:thumbup:

That looks like a very functional, no nonsense knife, Andi!

I've had my eye on this slim little French knife for quite awhile now. When this one showed up on the Exchange, I decided it was time. I'm sure you'll recognize one of Gary Graley's little sheaths. I got this knife from Gary and my first impression is very positive. What a great little EDC this is going to be!
P1000494%201.jpg
Congrats, Gary!:thumbup: I certainly remember some of G2's photos of both that slender, elegant knife and the flour de lis sheath!

Pretty as a picture!! :cool::cool:

Heavy metal, Robert!:thumbup: (I'm curious to see the belt/suspenders combo you must use to carry that pair of giants. :D)

SAK...will that XLT fit in the coin pocket of your jeans?:p

Have a RR today in the coin pocket.

Steve, that Rough Rider white bone Barlow is quite striking! Belated Happy 60th! ;)

Simplifying: won't last, of course.
