What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Lately, this guy cuts an apple and opens a beer most days (earned patina on the blade, forced with vinegar on the cap lifter).

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

TC Barlow & Lon Humphrey Whitetail.

Nice pairing today Brett !:thumbup::)

All three today, so I took a snap of them out at the old place. Just before the visiting cat decided to try and knock them all down :mad: Fortunately, no harm done to knives or cat.:D:thumbup:

Great threesome Will !!! Darn cats ! One of mine was batting at the lanyard on my new Bark River today.:thumbup::thumbup::D

Great UTK my friend !!!:thumbup::)

Thanks, Primble! I love 'em. This latest one is the new Bravo Squad Leader in Desert Ironwood Burl with Mosaic pins - here's another looksie:

Now let's see that Northstar!

Another nice pic ! I will try to get some pics tomorrow - I was putting a finish on a bench today and didn't find the time. ;):)

Looking forward to the pics of the new Bark River, Primble:D:thumbup: Thanks for the kind words! Sneak in a picture of the bench too;)

GT Many thanks,
the knife you were asking after is a CASE/Bose Norfolk, single-spring, Wharncliffe/Modified Clip.

Primble Most kind:thumbup: That cat is a terror, she gets into everything...yesterday she carried off my headlight from a cabinet - regarding it as a mouse but then started throwing it around kill-style:eek::mad: Later on she did the real business with some unfortunate Vole, never knew they threw stuff around so wildly. Fortunately the little animal was dead immediately and had not a mark on him, but you try confiscating that trophy from her.... :D:D Since she displays foraging and retrieving tendencies, I'm hoping to train her to find lost knives, truffle hunting style  Where's that stag Chambriard eh?

Today I want to keep it simple. The 15 Barehead single blade is a satisfying carry, minimalist in some ways but a looker. Can't understand why GEC hasn't offered this as single Wharncliffe yet? scope for an SFO perhaps...

Thanks and enjoy a peaceful day wherever you are, Will

Hi Snake, looks like the rumours of your demise were exaggerated! :D

NICE Sam

Very stylish

No hammer CM? ;) :D Good to see you here

Very nice black and white and the S&M is always a pleasure to see. You takin' up the piano Jack?:confused::eek::D :)

Thanks Primble  LOL! Definitely not, I fear my neighbours would string me up! :D

Super Soup

Beautiful John

What a great pairing :)

Stunning group Will, you must have happy pockets! :)

Lovely Gev

hanks for setting me straight on the penknife covers, Jack; I saw a different pic in another thread (Old Friends Friday?) that made it clear that the "ribs" lie below the surface.
Also, thanks for the compliment. :) Where I come from, "deep pockets" is sometimes used to connote someone with great wealth; I don't think that connotation actually fits me, or I'd be carrying a lot more stag than I currently do! :D If "deep pockets" is to be taken as a literal description of features of my pants that allow me to carry a dozen knives at a time , my pockets don't have to be any larger than normal, but I DO have to use an "elasticized" belt that I can cinch up much tighter than normal! :p
Hope your York excursion was safe, enjoyable, and/or productive. You're on a black & white roll the past couple of days!:cool:

LOL! :D Maybe you need a bandolier GT! :D  I had a good trip to York, though a bit tiring. I found a nice old Keen Kutter in an antiques shop, so that's the beans on toast money gone! :D Hope you're having a great weekend my friend

I like the Buck, but that axe...

Carrying my Davison today :)

Have a great Sunday everyone

With a little time that 'forced' will look just as good as the unforced. It's always the tang area that's tricky due to oiling. But, then there's stainless

Jack My pockets were a bit heavy, but combat style trousers offer so much in the way of storage :D

Thanks, Will

This great Böker Whittler is with me today ... an amazing knife I was gifted by Will (WillPower) more than a year ago...

I remember you getting that one Andi, beautiful knife

My lovely stag American Jack is with me this weekend. I cannot imagine why more people do not adore this pattern. One of the most well built knives I own at any price.

This one's been in the pocket since it arrived yesterday. Sharpest out of the tube to date. Didn't even need touching up. I'm really liking this one.
