What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Gorgeous knife, Dean! :thumbup::eek::thumbup:

Time to go choose my knives for the week ahead!

- GT

Thanks, GT! Looking forward to see your selections.

Dean - I hid mine back in the tube, I was afraid that I was liking them too much!!:D:eek::D

I know what you mean, but these Farmer's Jacks are just so beautiful. I promised myself I'd keep the other four pristine while I carry the Antique amber pick bone and while I look for a Cranberry.

It could be a good look my friend! :D Or what about something like this?! ;)

Thanks pal, I might be down to bean on crumb by the end of the week! :D
Thanks, Jack; keep those ideas coming! :p Actually, in younger days, I was occasionally accused of bearing a slight resemblance to Coburn, but it's been ages since I had either hair or mustache even remotely like that in the photo! :( I have to admit that when I bought groceries yesterday, I also picked up a leather trifold wallet at 75% off, and am using it as a "pocket slip" for 3 knives (I think it will easily handle a fourth knife if necessary).

...GT - Thanks and hope you have a great week! :)
...
Thanks, Ron, and wishing you a wonderful week as well! :)

Thanks, GT! Looking forward to see your selections....

Dean, here are some of the knives I'll carry this week. (I don't really have to expend much mental energy selecting knives, since I have a written weekly schedule on which I set up an eight-week rotation.)

I have 3 Vics (Minichamp, Electrician, and Cadet) and a Sheffield SAK (a Chinese copycat) among the knives in my pockets for the next 7 days.

I think you'll have enough tools this week, GT. The cadet is always a fine choice for pocketability. I've tried to carry the minichamp, but prefer a rambler instead. Victorinox makes so many great models...

Hello to everyone! I did not get to post yesterday so I decided to make this Stag Sunday for me today! ;):D
Hope and pray that everyone has a great day! :) One of my new 77 NorthFields all dressed up in it's Sunday best! :D

Gorgeous dogs, Paul!!! Looks like a good day! Always love seeing that knife:thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you Gev, I always appreciate your comments and compliments my friend:thumbup: it's amazing how the problems of the day just melt away when I'm out with my dogs:)

My father got this for me when he was in Germany...interesting that he picked up a Japanese knife to send to me. But it is one of my favorites.

Went camping this past weekend. These are the knives I brought with me. GEC 15 Beer Scout Knife in Ivory bone, 77 Barlow in natural micarta, An ax and a M43 Kukuri.

We had a Pumkin Ale tasting at this camp trip.

My lovely stag American Jack is with me this weekend. I cannot imagine why more people do not adore this pattern. One of the most well built knives I own at any price.

What a beauty. I've got that same one, and really like "most" things about it. Only neg as far as I'm concerned, mine is a bear trap-n-a-half. If it just wasn't so damn hard to open, would probably be my number one most work days.

Though I have been able to work it down from "impossible without pliers" to "another chip in my thumbnail", level of pull strength required to open. I didn't feel comfortable bending the spring. I probably should have just added a little lapping compound to the tang/spring contact points, and worked it. May still try that though, I really want that Jack to feel and function as good as it looks.

I was planting ground cover in the garden today, and I took this along for its debut outing. This might be my favorite GEC.

This great Böker Whittler is with me today ... an amazing knife I was gifted by Will (WillPower) more than a year ago...

Andi I'm very glad that you enjoy using the Böker, they make a very decent Traditional I think.:)

Today a stainless 73 modified by Glenn into a single-blade, just right for me thanks

Looks like a great trip Bozack

Sounds like you owe the 'mugshots' thread a contribution GT! :D Nice score on the wallet, ADEE has adopted a couple, and gets half a dozen knives in each one, I'll have to take pics when I next see him! :)

Nice picture of a fine knife Jack !:) Thank you for your comment on my BR.:)

Thank you sir

I've been having problems with Photobucket, and a lot of my recent pics have gone down :( Sorry for that folks, I always think the resultant boxes are ugly litter to the threads :thumbdn: I'll try and replace them if I can.

Haven't carried a Sodbuster in a while, and thought I'd pocket this Case, which Woodrow sent me some years back :)

Also carrying one of my old Sheffield penknives, a gift from the much-missed 'Old & In The Way'

Well crap, there are way too many beauties in this thread. Sometimes I post, but most of the time I'm just browsing in envy. ;). One of my newest loves that I cannot get enough of are some of the new (-er, -ish) Barlow's.
