What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A qwik walk with my dogs after work to one of my favorite spots...good for the soul:thumbup:

Your 73 against the "big sky" looks marvelous, Paul!:cool: Your dogs look like they're good therapists! :D:thumbup:

I think you'll have enough tools this week, GT. The cadet is always a fine choice for pocketability. I've tried to carry the minichamp, but prefer a rambler instead. Victorinox makes so many great models...
Thanks, Dean; you're right, I have plenty of tools, including a lot of redundancy, this week. :) ("And that's not all", as they say on the TV infomercials - I'm also carrying a Girl Scout knife this week. ;)) I used to always carry a Vic Classic and used its scissors far more than I'd have predicted; I found the Minichamp at a gun&knife show for a price I couldn't refuse, so I upgraded to that. I don't have a Rambler, but it certainly has a desirable set of tools: the scissors, cap lifter/Phillips, file/flathead, and blade are all tools I use frequently on the Minichamp. The only other Minichamp tool I use frequently is the retractable ink pen; that's something I'd miss if I switched to a Rambler.

Went camping this past weekend. These are the knives I brought with me. GEC 15 Beer Scout Knife in Ivory bone, 77 Barlow in natural micarta, An ax and a M43 Kukuri.

We had a Pumkin Ale tasting at this camp trip.
bozack, some very interesting blades and bottles on your camping trip!:thumbup:

...Sounds like you owe the 'mugshots' thread a contribution GT! :D Nice score on the wallet, ADEE has adopted a couple, and gets half a dozen knives in each one, I'll have to take pics when I next see him! :)
...
I've been having problems with Photobucket, and a lot of my recent pics have gone down :( Sorry for that folks, I always think the resultant boxes are ugly litter to the threads :thumbdn: I'll try and replace them if I can.

Haven't carried a Sodbuster in a while, and thought I'd pocket this Case, which Woodrow sent me some years back :)

Also carrying one of my old Sheffield penknives, a gift from the much-missed 'Old & In The Way'

I'd be interested in photos of ADEE's knife wallets, Jack, so I can fully use the capabilities mine has; I will put a DMT diamond credit card plate in the wallet with the knives, too.

I hope you get your Photobucket glitches resolved! :(

Classic Sodbuster brightening your day today! The penknife is a splendid, vintage example, and the monogrammed knife slip is terrific!

That Peanut is practically perfect!!:thumbup:

Jack your Sheffield is the "across a pond cousin" of the NYKC Hammer I posted Saturday. Very neat!

I was hoping to see ADEE tomorrow GT, but the spectre of work beckons! :D

Thanks my friend :)

Thanks Joe, that's interesting :)

I'm VERY impressed by both the rings and the knife!! Kudos, JSCHENK!:cool::thumbup:

Thank you Tony! I have that same SB Jr, it's one of my favorite knives.

Beautiful knife CROWEMAG!

Thanks, Erik! I have been looking for a bail for it but sometimes feel I do not want or need it. Hmmm. I do love the covers on this one. I was pleased to see the grain when receiving from Charlie. -Jesse

MadMaximus: Great minds think alike.

And it looks like ours do, too! :D

... I've carried this Tascosa lockback almost every day since acquiring it at GEC's Rendezvous in early August, no matter what else clinks and clanks and happily weighs down other pockets and sheaths. I love having it along.

The latest addition, an owl bead, is icing on the cake. :)
