What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Got the bench finished for my daughter in-law today. Borrowed the top for a few pics before I delivered it. Now I can get back to fall fishing' and knifin' stuff!!! :D:D

Went pretty minimal today. Alox Vic Cadet and Case green bone Peanut. I've posted a pic of the pair a few times already. The day is about over and haven't needed either of them.

Also carrying one of my old Sheffield penknives, a gift from the much-missed 'Old & In The Way'

Carrying the GEC SFO electrician along with my Wave for some back yard tinkering.

Beautiful knife and pic !:)

MadMaximus: Great minds think alike.

And it looks like ours do, too! :D

... I've carried this Tascosa lockback almost every day since acquiring it at GEC's Rendezvous in early August, no matter what else clinks and clanks and happily weighs down other pockets and sheaths. I love having it along.

The latest addition, an owl bead, is icing on the cake. :)

Couldn't agree more! Great blades and a nice lanyard too!

Thanks :D Compared to what i see around here every day, this is just a humble little peanut. Still, it's sharp, beautiful and getting the job done since 2011.
Can't ask for much more than that!!:)

SBJ was with me today... what a wonderful pattern.

...As for me, I'm carrying my CV Sodbuster Jr. with chestnut bone

Andi and Tony, those are fine examples of SBJs (swayback jack and Sodbuster Jr, respectively)!:thumbup: I have both models in CV and chestnut jigged bone, and they're such a perfect pair that I want to get more chestnut bone CV - probably sowbelly stockman and Peanut, at least! ;)

My new Case Barnboard Canoe! Just came in today.

Ron
Congrats on the terrific canoe, Ron!:thumbup: I've been gradually turning into a serious canoe connoisseur!

Astounding table, Primble! Does it make sense to say it looks so simple and so rich?!?:thumbup::thumbup::eek:

More of the knives I'm totin' this week: a little Ganzo stockman (from davek14), a Rough Rider congress, and a RR canittler.

Spent the morning whacking this guy with a hammer to take out some side to side play. It's a lot tighter now, but I managed to keep a great snap in the blades. Quit while you're ahead!

AHHH Dont do anything you'll regret to that beauty!!!

My first case with chestnut and CV was the peanut followed by the sodbuster Jr. and then the trio was completed by adding a swayback jack. I love all 3 but carry the sodbuster and swayback more than the peanut due to size

Don't worry! She's safe. Peened back to nice and right and snappy. Just need to refinish the bolster. I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would for a knife of that size.
