What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Don! I really like Case's chestnut bone so I might have to look into adding more to the "Trio"! If case made a mini trapper with a wharncliffe blade in place of the spey in chestnut and CV I'd be all over that! I like the size of the mini trapper and medium stockman but those curves on the sowbelly do look really nice!

I was just getting ready to say add the 32 Medium Stockman to make a quintet, but a Wharncliffe Mini Trapper WOULD make a GOOD sextuplet. Unfortunately, I haven't seen one like that you describe, but if I found one, I'd want one like that also. That would make me a sextuplet.

Only the "Very Best" from Marko!!:eek:

A storm is passing through and I felt it appropriate to get a quick picture to match the storm in my heart... Thank you, Marko!!

Hah yea I wish they would make a wharncliffe mini trapper in CV with Chestnut... I've only seen it in SS variations and I prefer the CV for the patina

Wow! Gev - Don't know anything about the weather forecast, but this OVB definitely deserves a repeat appearance! An absolute stunner!!:D

I reground the blade on the fancy pants 501. It is nice and thin behind the edge now Now it looks better and cuts better too :)

Wow! I love the the look of that one! What is the handle material?

I gave the 501 a quick regrind last night. Now it looks a little better and cuts a lot better. :D

It's Birdseye Maple. There's a few left with different blades at KSF. These EDBs are just great knives that have a character of their own with their steel CPM154. Hey, how about that hand marbling and black accents I did on that NorthWooDs sheath?

Nice work on your 501 - looks like a solid worker. I got my nephew a Buck for his first knife this week.

That BEM that Queen has put on the Northwoods Barlow is really eye-catching HST.:cool: Far better than the grade they used on their own run of D2 knives about 10 years back. Inspired me to choose Queen today too.

He's a bit of a long dog, but light and slim in the pocket. No build issues at all and I've always liked their ACSB handle option, feels and looks right:thumbup:

Nice :)

Extremely nice return to the ebony and ivory theme of earlier this week, Jack!

...

Have an enjoyable and safe trip, Jack; with those knives you'll be starting off on the right foot for sure!:cool:

Thanks a lot GT, long, tiring trip, but it included a good visit with Stan Shaw...and Sausage Pie and a pint in 'The Fat Cat' ;)

Two great pics Drew

Two great-looking knives Ron

Thought I'd carry my Trevor Ablett today.
