What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I am cleaning the bluegills I caught this morning and carrying my 83 in orange camel bone. Yes I did do a vinegar bath on the OVB blades and nothing else. I bought it in a group of four knives which included.....gulp......The Hatch  Haunting isn't it Gevo?:D

Haunting indeed!!! We want photos of fish and knives expeditions;)

Some great knives and pics this week gentlemen. The fall pics and Paris pics were very nice.

You do a great job of highlighting the beauty of these knives. The two bladed version looks great.

I'm going camping this evening so I grabbed the green monster to baton some trees.

Jk, was looking for my camillus scout/army knife I usually camp with and found the tiny terror and wanted to share it. I'm totin' the EDB for now.

What is this wizadry?!

Started life with walnut covers. Evan, aka esnyx, replaced them for me with some preban ivory I had sourced. Spends a lot of time in my pocket, it's my main squeeze.

I love the architecture in that building and understand the tears. I really enjoy the tours you gents post...thank you!! Your OHTA is magnificent!
Small school, great teachers. Looked to me like the Daddy Bear's house when I was 7!
The Ohta is quince tree, looks like half briar burl and half snakewood, always with me beside the ancient barlow. Plus most of time the Beerscout. Can't imagine a day without.

Jolipapa,

Great pics and what a fun tour. Thanks for doing that. I love that architecture.

.
My pleasure. It was just a 20' tour, too bad much people in town don't even notice these buildings or respect them.

Thought I'd carry my Trevor Ablett today.

RIP, suitable carry Jack, I'm sure he would have loved it.

Which knife is that Tim? Maroon canvas micarta bullnose? I like it a lot.

I believe it's a natural canvas micarta bullnose in O1 Josh, sent you back a message about them alox's

Tim you have a great variety of Patina in that photo! That is a good looking Bull Nose!:)

Thank you Ron, it's actually missing about 1mm off the stock edge but the geometry is done so well by GEC that it still slices amazing.

A lot of patina'd goodness right there!

Thanks Erik, I'm really sorry to hear about your forum knife but I hope it gets fixed up right quick.

blue is the warmest colour

Happy Friday to you Rachel. Sweet Boker!:)

It is sweet, isn't it? ;)

Enjoy the rain, R8shell!! I know I am going too!!;)
Thanks. I think I've got all my errands done today, and I'm looking forward to holing up in the house all weekend. Maybe sit on the porch and watch the rain. Maybe make a pot of chili. That would be the way to start a patina on my Yellow Rose 83.

Speaking of:

The fish are in the freezer now.........how about some hot peppers I am canning?

Freddie Franks Found a Few Fantastic Fish on Friday, now Frozen.
Prior to that, Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Peppers to Pickle.

Pickled Peppers Pair Perfectly with Fresh Fried Fish. A Magnificent Mixture when Masticated as an aMalgamation.

:p:D I might enjoy alliteration a bit too much.

Look at the size of those monsters:eek: Must be about 350,000 scovilles under those beautiful knives! Wilbur would be proud;)

Banana Peppers only reach 900 SHU's, the Ghost Peppers can reach 2,199,999 SHU's  That's like eating FIRE!:barf::D

Your 83 would look great with a dark patina Rachel. The contrast between the yellow bone and dark blade = coolness!:D
